Are you saying the ps3 is a prime steak and the 360 is a chicken sandwich? Because that's not true. Of course people here who have a ps3 are going to try to justify their purchase because they are here because they are happy about it, but the 360 has a lot of advantages over the ps3. People who don't even have a ps3 aren't even here except me. My point is it's not like you are spending $400 and getting the clear winner. The 360 has sold more consoles for a reason. Sony is ****ting their pants on the ps3 for another. Sony is losing money. It's not that great to a lot of people including me. Sry Sony Reps who are here, but it's kind of true. I don't even really like MS either. They have their own issues, but it's not like you get a ps3 and the world is suddenly great like some people here will have you believe. 90% of multiplats run better on the 360. Patches, DLC etc. MS has a lot more support as far as that stuff. To the "gamer" who doesn't care about blu-ray that stuff adds up.

yeah, I don't know how you can come off as someone who is serious about helping the TC, when you come off with "Fanboy" type comments......most of which is opinion and not fact.

but again that is what will get this thread closed, and I think you understand that....so, start a thread in the general gaming discussion or a similar sub forum and I'll join you over there....deal?

As a gamer...could be casual, normal, or hardcore..

I'll say this about investing in a PS3..... Sony itself invests alot in creating many games that take advantage of the PS3.

they have around 14 studios around the world that they own, creating games for the Playstation Family....

so this coupled with games from 3rd Party Studios....and you're pretty set for different types of games.

as for having a multimedia device for the family.....I also think this is a great machine to have...

me and my cousins use the photo-viewer alot when we go to vacations or other occasions....(coupled with nice music playing in the background, using the PS3) or when we get together and just chill and watch funny Youtube videos.... all on the Big Screen.

so, at $299... I think it is VERY much worth it..... I bought mine when it was $599 and have been satisfied since...I use my system alot...and so do my cousins and friends.

How bout you take your personal insults somewhere else? All I did was respond to his question and tehre was nothing fanboyish about it. Because my opinion was against the norm I'm a fanboy. mmmkkk. as far as the creating a new thread in another sub-forum... it is more to discuss your views about the 2 systems....most of which I said I disagree with.

What did I say that isn't true? Sony is losing money on the PS3. That is a fact and not an opinion. There was nothing fanboyish about what I said nor was it meant that way. I was simply stating they are losing money on the ps3. Because they are. That's all i'm saying man.... That wasn't even the focalpoint of what I was trying to say. The ps3 is a nice system. All I was saying is it's not for everyone though.. For all I know he could be perfectly happy with it. I just was saying why he might not be.
