Yeah, if I remember correctly, you would use the analog sticks to do this.

I think it would be cool if one day you had to press a button sequence, to immitate flashing signs, and then as the pitch came in, you would move the analog stick in a dirrection to catch the ball. If you screwed up the button sequence, you could think the ball is staying level and not move the analog stick down (if the pitcher was really throwing a curveball). The ball would get by, symbolizing a cross up of signs

another great idea. I was thinking of the same thing...errr...the crossing up of signs, but couldn't come up with a way of implementing it. I like your idea.

In most cases the catcher is in complete control of the game. The pitcher can shake him off, but if the catcher really wants that pitch he is getting it.

On behalf myself and other like-minded bravo fans, I'd just like to say that I in know way support the 6yr. old-esque pestering that has been taking place this off season.

It really has been relentless, lol. I'd expect something like this from Met fans... but not my fellow ATL fans.
