played against mike mussina in the pennsylvania state playoffs and he threw a one hitter against us. i did have a try out with the scranton /wb redbarons (now yankees)but came up a little short. this is a little off topic but i also played football against tim ruddy who use to play for the dolphins we both played in the same league in highschool he went to dunmore and i played at lakeland.

I am related to former MLB players Terry and Bobby Kennedy. Or maybe one of them was John Kennedy? I don't remember, but I am related to 2 of those Kennedy's, lol.

And one of the coaches here at my college is former Twins OF Josh Rabe.

I was a good pitcher when I played and my coach always said I had an amazing arm, but my amazing arm hurt itself and that was that. I can still throw very hard and have movement on all my pitches, just have zero control. Shame.

We had a set of umpires that did a lot of are games in pony league baseball that had told my parents they had never seen a kid with that nasty of a curveball at my age or the control I had of all my pitches and said they felt I had a bright future as a pitcher. Things happened on are farm financially that cause me not to play my junior and senior year of baseball. I did strikeout Todd Dunwoody who played for the Marlins actually I dont really remember him getting a hit off of me. I had pitched a perfect game as well as a few 2 and 3 hitters.

I played college ball at Kent State. My Great-Grandfather played in the Indians organization in the 40's. This is the reason I live in Ohio.

Yea, I've heard the new place (the name escapes me) is doing well. Every time I drove past there it looked packed.

That's cool to hear of your connection with Olsen.

Sorry for the confusion, I went to Warren Township High School in Gurnee, IL.

So I'm a couple hours away from Lena, but still it seems like there are a lot of posters on here (at least in this thread) from Northern Illinois.

My dad's friend used to play for the Royals (forget his name) and also my mother in-law is related to Tom Neito a former big league catcher. He has a ring with the Twins.. a couple of yers back when he was the Mets bullpen coach he invited me to hang out and tour Chase Field with the Mets, but i couldn't get a ride to Phoenix. Still haunts me because i was gonna walk into the Mets clubhouse with a Yankee hat on
