The Gamestop I pre-ordered at just called me to say they're doing a midnight release. Figured this would be the best place to post this. I haven't heard much talk of midnight releases.

Since I'm not much of a Gamestop supporter (especially after hearing about their complaints), I'm going to buy the games at midnight from Gamestop, then buy from Best Buy and returned those unopened copies to Gamestop haha.

It's bulletproof.

Haha. The only problem I can see are the price tags BB would put on the game's plastic wrap.

Trust me, it hurt inside when I pre-ordered from there. There are no good mom n pop shops around me, if there were I'd go through them.

I do the same thing BUT I order online from amazon.com for the copies to return. The price is sometimes a few dollars cheaper and in most states there is no sales tax on amazon.com (NY has it now, I live in CT), and free shipping (takes a few days but as long as it's within your Gamestop return window it's no issue).

Ah, didn't think of that.

Do you think they'll notice, care to notice, or care if they notice? It's still an unopened copy in their eyes, is it not?

Then I guess separation of the plates could leave me vulnerable to knives and gunfire.

I've finally given up my search. The best luck I've had was a small rental place that said both copies they have are out and due back March 1st. It sucks knowing every BestBuy has this game but won't sell it.
