Quick question, I am about to put my pre order at Gamestop for in store pick up. Does anyone know if they're doing midnight release?

I would also assume that GameStops located inside a mall would be exempt from midnight releases. Unfortunately, I have mine pre-ordered from a mall GameStop.

Hey Rich do you know what time the store opens on sunday. I keep searching but all I get is location on google maps.

Thanks for that info, dude. Unfortunately, the GameStop I pre-ordered from is not on there. But the other 4 stores right near my house will be opening at midnight. Figures. lol. I was actually just thinking about heading to my local 24-hour Wal-Mart to see if they might have it.

I've never been to a wal-mart at midnight on the Tuesday of release and had a problem...(With any game, not just the show.)

Can you cancel the pre-order and tell them you want to pre-order it at another GameStop?

I would think that would be a possibility, however I actually traded in a copy of DJ Hero with the turntable for store credit and they gave me $45 for it, so I added it on to my existing pre-order. I ended up paying the whole thing off earlier this evening.

It seems so petty to be searching even though I payed in full, but I am just so excited for this great game. What's even better is my fiancee doesn't mind me playing the game all day Tuesday either! She knows it makes me happy. lol.

Just got back from a local store in the greater Philadelphia area. They have MLB '10: The Show there, but only in the PS2 and PSP versions. I was so bummed the PS3 version wasn't on the shelf, and I asked the guy if they had any PS3 versions, and he basically said he hasn't come across it and that he's put all the new stock out.

So anyway, if anyone is looking for the PS2 or PSP versions of the game, PM me and I'll give you the location of the store.

no, the pre-orders are store specific...that's why you pre-order, so they know how many to order etc. and so they have enough copies for the first shipment

midnight releases also just depend on how many people order the game, location of the store etc.

Bummer! Yeah, that's what I thought, but I was kinda holding out hope. I figured maybe cuz it was a large company that maybe it didn't matter. Oh well, I'll call that Gamestop tomorrow and see what the story is. Maybe they'll have a couple extra. Maybe I'll buy one at midnight and sell the other one if I'm that desperate. We'll see. Thanks.
