I'm sorry, what I was saying was that the PS3 was set in Demonstration Mode, not the version of the game was a demo version.

That's pretty funny that the PS3 at your Best Buy was like that. I may be inclined to check it out.

Mine too. I just exited out of demonstration mode and started the full game. You have to get someone to press start button though.

I hate the GameStop I pre-ordered from. Instead of calling, they send out a text message saying I can pick up the game Tuesday morning.

From now on, I am no longer dealing with a GameStop inside a mall. Was really hoping to pick it up at midnight.

You really expect them to call that many people?

I didn't mean hate because of the text message. I just meant it in the sense because it's inside the mall and malls are only open until around 9:30 or so.

A user got the game in the Bronx, but he doesn't want to tell me where. I find this funny because he asked me for the spot in Queens via PM last night, and I gave it to him.

Sorry if it took an hour, my gf was watching The Hills or some other crappy show on the laptop so I wasn't on the cpu for a while. I read your message in the car on my iphone but wasn't able to respond at the time b/c I was trying to drive without crashing.

I am more than willing to help and I even picked up a copy for a couple members here early last year.

People pre order games from Gamestop, then find out about Mom and Pop stores selling the games early so they cancel their pre orders from gamestop, get their money back and get them early from a mom and pop store. Therefore, causing gamestop to lose business so to speak. Which is also why Mom and pop stores don't have the games right now.

lol...That [People getting early] is such a VERY small drop in the bucket I doubt this is remotely true but it's nice to have one last conspiracy before launch.

Well, looks like I have to wait until Tuesday morning. The one GameStop by me is having a midnight release, and the one I pre-ordered from said I can't pick it up anywhere else but with them. Was hoping I could pull an all-nighter.

You still could pull an all-nighter. Just cancel the preorder at the one store and get the credit put onto a gift card, then presale it today at the midnight release store.

A spot out in queens has it. It's not the same guy that rich found but i was told about it from rich's boy. I got my copy earlier today. He's charging 70 with no tax. New Yorkers pm for details.

My guy in BX also told me 70 with no tax, and told me how some ppl are selling for $100 since it' not out yet. I told him I might be back at the urging of my gf, and he stopped me and said ok $65, also with no tax.

No receipt either, but playing my copy now and it works!!

Just got the call that I can pick it up at midnight tomorrow at my Gamestop.

Was a great call. I actually stopped by the Gamestop, as I had to do some grocery shopping today, to see if perhaps they could sell it to me early. He tried but the computer system they have there wouldn't let them sell it without fully screwing up their tracking system. So in the end I couldn't get it today, but not a big deal. I have to work tomorrow anyway so it's not like I'll be sitting around going crazy. But damn. Work is going to drag on tomorrow!
