Does anyone from canada(or even usa cause this stores there as well) know if this game will be in video game rental stores to purchase tomorrow? I wanna pick up the game quickly at lunch and stores like that are only ones i can get it from fast.

I did a quick Meijer and Target run and had no luck. I managed to buy a few days early at one of them last year but no luck this year. Fortunately, my amazon order is on it's way so I should be good for tomorrow.

Perhaps I'm slow as I haven't tried to pick-up a game before or on launch day in a while. However, I was sitting in traffic and brought up best buy on my phone and saw that it was listed as "available" on line at a store a block away. So, I drove over. The game wasn't on display and I asked a guy working there what the deal was.

He informed me the game was in stock and scanned into the best buy system-- thus showing it available. However, the store could not sell the game prior to the official launch date. Seems absurd.

Just FYI to anyone who sees it as available-- don't drive out.

Nope...and I know they said we'd receive an email about it so I'm hoping when I log onto my email tomorrow morning from work, I'll have one....

same here, I got my email telling me I can pick it up tomorrow but no word on the Classic Stadiums.

For those in the Sycamore/Dekalb Area, while I was not able to find a store that broke street date. And sadly, our gamestops's are not going to havea midnight release for Battlefield. There is however one store that is open 24 hours I just called and they will be selling it at midnight. And while I was out and about looking for the game yesterday and today, I stopped by Wal-Mart and saw how they redid some of their electronics department. Very nice. And I had to wait in line till practically MIDNIGHT, just to buy a bag of candy. I loves candy.

anywho, sorry I couldn't find it early for any of you.
