its the way it is and as Psycho said...it has something to do with RTP. If you read thru the community day threads, I believe its addressed. Or it you could check out the RTP blog, as I believe its discussed in there as well.

Question for Twins fans: does Mauer adjust his helmet like that when he's rounding the bases? Or is that something SCEA added in for all players rounding the bags this year.

Yeah, that is something that is going to show up with every player this year who hits a home run. The animation got repeated because the animation fit in with the real time presentation. It will be that way for this year.

We were told that specific animation synced the best with the RTP as the player rounded the bag. We picked up on it right away at CD, there will be more variety as the feature develops. Until then hold onto to your hat!

Well, then there won't be the complete stream of the player rounding the bases. It will probably be like last year, where there was a cut or two when rounding the bases, and that was all.

When you turn off RTP you get the presentation from last year where they do not show the batter rounding all the bases.

As petty as it seems, that holding of the helmet thing kind of bothers me! I think I'll be switching betweenn RTP and the classic presentation mode every few games, just to keep things fresh.

It's clear to me RTP isn't anywhere near completion. I'm sure it will be superb next year.
