Re: MLB 10: The Show - The Little Things Thread
I never noticed this before in 09 so I'm assuming this is new..
After Grady Sizemore struck out, he went in front of AJ and usually I see the catcher just throw the ball through the batter but AJ stopped his throw and waited for Grady to pass and then threw the ball back to the mound.Comment

How about the new out-of-town scores!! and the little ticker on top with all sorts of info! Thanks SECA and Knight, I know Knight worked hard with the devs to bring this to the game and is finally in. I'm happy!!!
peace!!

Re: MLB 10: The Show - The Little Things Thread
Was playing RTTS and was doing the warm up hitting practice before a game. In the background there were announcements going on like "Home hitting practices 2 hours before the game, away hitting practices 1 hour before the game.", stuff that's not allowed to be in the ball park, and where you were allowed to try to get autographs before the game. It was nice to listen to while taking my warm up swings.Comment

Re: MLB 10: The Show - The Little Things Thread
Just seen this in an exhibition game. The umpire took it off the mask and goes down. Actually had a few minute delay as well

Re: MLB 10: The Show - The Little Things Thread
Loving the new Little Things as said before. In a game between the Phillies and Blue Jays at Rogers Centre with Roy Halladay on the mound, Dave said something similar to: "This must be a strange situation for him, wearing a different team uniform in a venue he's used to playing in." I wonder if the game tracks something like this throughout Franchise Mode or if it only applies to players acquired in the offseason in exhibition...I'd love to hear this observation made about other players.
Also, a few of you also made reference to this, but I love the fact that Dave, Rex and Matt make reference to prospects by their ages. For example, Travis Snider hit a home run in the aforementioned Jays/Phils game and Rex said, "That's a lot of opposite field pop for a 22 year old!"
Has anyone seen the "Keys to Victory" broadcast feature? I don't remember this feature from years past and have only seen it once. Usually after the first out of the away first, Rex breaks down three factors that the home team could use to get the win. Some of his observations are pretty in depth as well, so it's a real treat when you see this overlay pop up every 5th game or so.
On a semi-related note, many of the broadcast features the game includes don't happen every game. Like I said, I've only seen the "Keys To Victory" once, and also saw a "Pitcher Top Speed Comparison" overlay and analysis in another game. This is the way to create variety in every game presentation-wise. A job well done.
And, for those interested, here's more hilarious reliever warm-up music: "Give My Regards to Broadway" and "Bingo (Was His Name-O)". Like I said in my first post with "Home On The Range", I have NEVER heard any of these songs played at a baseball game. It's really funny stuff when you're trying hard to nail your pitches in warmups and get caught off guard by the corny music the organist picks for you.Last edited by CarryTheWeight; 03-04-2010, 06:10 PM.Owner of URWL CAW WRESTLING: http://www.rantboard.net/Comment

I know it's been mentioned before but I love Matsui returning to Yankee Stadium. You have to have RTP off and Matsui will tap Posada with his at bat and then wave to the fans during his first at bat.Comment
