Not sure this has been mentioned or not and I probably won't read through 14 pages of posts to find it.



What game mode did the bug happen in? (Front End, RTTS, Franchise, Gameplay, Online, etc....) - Exhibition

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? - Played two exhibition games so far and in both games there was an instance where my batter worked a full count and then the pitcher threw ball four into the dirt which the catcher blocked. My runner trotted down to 1B and then during the next AB it said that the official scorer's decision was E2. So the opposing catcher got an error, the pitcher did not receive a walk, my batter did not receive credit for the walk.

How often can the bug be reproduced? - Happened twice but not sure I can manually reproduce it.

It's so annoying that the games I sim in my season, the lineups I have set aren't used, EVER! I feel like I am losing games because of it. How do I go about fixing this, or is there even a way???

since my home run distance thread was closed (for some unknown reason other than the mods having some sort of power trip, thinking they can just go and close every single topic that they don't like, and not closing russel's thread, for example, which is just a repeat of something that is already posted), i'll ask the same question again here.

why is it that line drive home run's that land in the first couple of rows seem to have a higher distance than those that land further back in the stands?? also, home runs that are hit in wrigley (probably every other park as well but i can for sure tell about wrigley since i've seen over a 1000 games played there) seem to have a greater distance than they actually should. in real life, a home run that lands in the bleachers in straight away left would not go over 400 ft unless it was hit out of the park. in the game though, it might register one time as 430 or another time as 405 or sometimes even less. it all depends on if it was a line drive or just a high flyball. and i know a line drive would travel further, but in real life they mark the spot where it lands in the bleachers, not if there were no bleachers there to impede its distance.

I have been hearing Matt get the teams mixed up when putting guys up in the pen. I'm Detroit, playing Baltimore, he'll say "the Orioles warming a lefty up" (or whatever) when it's me that is warming someone up. Happens pretty regularly.

Also, the drop-down info ticker will often display the wrong name. "Brandon Inge HR, his first of the spring, 405 feet" (or whatever) and it was Miguel Cabrera who hit the HR, etc.

Season, but I am assuming it would be in any mode.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

I held on to a ground ball to the second baseman without throwing it. I can recreate it by not throwing it again the next time it's hit to me.

Describe the bug

I did not throw the ball on a ground ball to second base which I cleanly fielded & the batter reached base & the game called it an error on me & failed to give my opponent the hit.

I was actually doing an experiment & so I let my opponent round the bases to score. The game gave the player who scored an RBI yet no hit was given to him. Only an error was given to me.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Every time. (not sure if this would occur online also, but it happened to me offline in a 2 player game on the same console in a season.

The online intentional walk glitch can those of you who have experienced this. Can you tell me what teams and who was pitching?

I was using Atlanta Braves pitching Derek Lowe...He had Texas Rangers. The game froze when i tried to do an intentional walk.

Franchise-in my current franchise when it shows the players stats, it still says what the player led in last year. so Mauer was batting .264 but the box was highlighted and said "led major league" instead of what it should be now.

Franchise- was down 2-0 in 9th, Papelbon came into to close for them scored one run to make it 2-1 and Papelbon was immediately taken out of game for a middle reliever.

Tampa Bay Rays at Boston Redsox, playing as the redsox I scorched a grounder to first base, it was botched for an error and I was safe. The inning ended and looking at the line score the Rays had 0 errors but the redsox had 1. The error was credited to the wrong team.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
So far I have only seen it happen once, I have heard others complaining about it though as well.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Playing with the Marlins at the Twins. I walk a batter pitching with Josh Johnson. During the replay, while Dave Campbell is explaining the ball missing the zone to the outside, the "Pitch Trax" diagram shows the location of the ball being in the strike zone, even though the ball was actually about 2 feet off the plate.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Just saw it for the first time.

Royals (me) vs Tigers (cpu) at Kauffman. Top 7th I got a lefty and a righty up in the pen, the announcers remarked that the Tigers had started loosening up a lefty and a righty instead of the Royals. Confirmed that the Tigers had nobody active in their bullpen. Tried it again the next inning and it did the same thing.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Presumably every time I bring up relievers, or at least every time the announcers have nothing better to talk about when I bring the relievers up for warm ups.

Royals (me) vs Tigers (cpu) at Kauffman Stadium. 8th inning they gave a comparison of the starting pitchers thus far, even though both starters had already left the game the inning before. They proceeded to talk about how Smoltz (Royals) has done more than enough to get the win, even though we were losing and he had been removed from the game, thus not being eligible for a win at all by that point.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Unknown at this time.

This does not follow the format of normal bugs.

Since the patch came out when I try to quit the game after I finish by pressing the PS button & then choosing the "quit game" icon located above the DVD icon of the game on the XMB, I get the whistle sound like when you first turn on the PS3 by pressing the PS button & it actually turns off my PS3 controller too.

This issue only started post patch.

- When I pinch hit for the pitcher I can't keep the player that pinch hit in the game. When you go to the bullpen it says to go to "If you want to leave (player) in, swap his position in the Defensive Substitution menu before bringing in a new pitcher." But it won't allow you to switch anyone to the pitcher position so you lose the player after one pinch hit. Get the message, "Cannot sub for pitcher."
- Recreated it every game.

- Every game. (Took pictures if that would help, I can email them to you if needed)

Newest patch didn't fix this issue yet. Hopefully the next patch will.

I was traded 7 times in a span of two years (my first two years on my RTTS). The first trade was straight up me for Jose Reyes.

None of the trades afterwards were as off balanced. Also one of the trades took place after the trade deadline.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

I didn't put the time into trying a new RTTS to see if it happened.

I posted this in the franchise thread but got no reply, so i see this as a bug so ill post it here:

When i try to make a trade it is like the trade is erased after i save my franchise and turn the game off. I am 100% sure i saved my franchise. Yes i can recreate it.

During offseason of after my first year in majors, I was offered a 800 thousand contract over 4 years. I wanted a shorter deal, and even tried brining money down to like 30k per year (I tried 1,2,3 year deals) and the CPU wouldn't accept any of my counter offers.. I tried on different days and everything, nothing worked.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

The same thing happened the rest of that offseason.. Eventually had to take the 4 year deal.
