What game mode did the bug happen in? (Front End, RTTS, Franchise, Gameplay, Online, etc....)

Front end, RTTS, Franchise, basically anywhere within the game

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

First time it happened, I was messing around with custom music and once I backed out, the game froze. During a quick game, after 3 pitches game froze. During exhibition game after 2nd inning, game froze.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Usually once everytime I turn the game on..

Franchise and Season

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

- Created a player (decent contact and power, or max contact and power)

- Place the player on the Cubs

- Place player 3rd in the lineup (for sim CPU places him 3rd in the lineup when all stats are max (including contact and power from both sides).

- Play each game then fast forward to the end (as opposed to simming the season or simming game by game)

The created player hits poorly no matter what his contact and power or any other setting. He won't steal bases even if all settings are 99 (speed, base running ability and aggressiveness.)

Generally the created player will hit 0 HRs (max ability player generally hits 45 or more HRs if the games are simmed, but 0 if PLAY, fast forward to end).

Here is a sample of the same player in a simmed season vs Play, Fast Forward to end for all games.

Simmed:

Spring: .300 7HR 19RBI
Season: .308 53HR 131RBI 0SB


Play, Fast Forward to End (each game):

Spring: .174 0HR 3RBI
Season: .244 0HR 24RBI 0SB

Every time a player is created.

I am doing blue jays franchise.
Its my 3rd year and at the point of May 3rd against detroit, it freezes while i try to simulate. I cannot pase through 3rd May.
I am stuck.
I do not have save data to recreate it.

How it happened?
I just noticed my team had a record of like 29-9 in the minor leagues, yet we have easily played 50-60 games. I believe it is only reflecting the record of games my player played in and not the overall games the team has played.

How often?
This is my only RTTS, so just the only time I know of.

isn't really a bug or a glitch, just the way the game appears to be, but i don't know where else to send this information to.

Trying to play a game with a friend on my buddy list, only some of the gameplay settings are adjustable. Pitch ball marker and controller vibration, to name a few, are nowhere to be found. Nor is there anything involving the sliders to adjust.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

All the time.


i have no idea why they wouldn't let you adjust these options. so if i'm playing online with a friend, i can't keep my controller from vibrating? it's ridiculous. and if the sliders can't be touched in an online exhibition game, that pretty much kills online play for me.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

When I was playing the Rays vs O's, I hit a ground ball to the 3rd basemen and went to check the last pitch. I wanted to hit start, however I hit the select button and it froze the game. I have been able to recreate the problem twice now between innings of 7th and 8th.

If there is a runner on 3rd and 2 outs and the runner crosses the plate before the ball is caught or the throw gets to first, the run counts when it shouldn't.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Any time a runner on third with two outs crosses the plate before the force out is made.

Ok I think this is a cpu roster management bug. I got past it by using my profile on ALL teams. Found a AA team that did not have enough position players. I move 2 up and I could advance past. Cpu does not like to call players up.

2 times after Intentional Walks (as has been mentioned)
The latest time happened after a routine double to center. The runner on second scored and when the catcher got the ball thrown in, everyone just stood around. No buttons worked.

3 of the last 5 games I've played have had this happen.

Many of the correct coaches have been replaced with "fake" coaches. This primarily applies to any coaches that was hired or switched teams during the season. (ex. Mark McGwire and Rick Peterson)

I was pitching, opponent hits groundball to shortstop. Shortstop overthrows 1B and the ball flies into the dugout and keeps going (the camera follows it through the dugout and can no longer see the ball). Normalyl this would issue a "BALL OUT OF PLAY" prompt and the runner would take 3rd. However, the play was not stopped and the runner went all the way home and I was unable to retrieve the ball.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

No idea, has only happened to me once, don't remember the stadium or players.

Game freezes after batting warm-ups. Music still plays and I can't bring up the XMB or game menu. Had to restart

The catcher's (Rob Johnson) back throw to the pitcher (David Aardsma) looks very glitchy. Just before the throwing the animation stops for maybe a second. It happens after any strike or ball.

playing deep into game, usually with shutout going, manager refuses to pull me. i went into 7th inning with a shut out and about 100 pitches and he kept me in. went into 8th with 111 pitches and i stayed in, and kept me in after giving up a lead off double, walked someone, and gave up a 2 run double
