What game mode did the bug happen in?

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

Was pitching...got the ball back from the catcher and pressed select to bring up the charts. Game froze. I was able to produce it twice. It seems like I pressed it before the pitcher was set which caused it to freeze. I haven't had the issue when my pitcher is set and ready to pitch.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Happened twice, but reluctant to test it.

Same thing is happening to me. Have you heard how they are going to fix it?

ok, i didnt read all 12 pages of this thread, but has this bug been reported:
During and at bat when u press select to see the picther and batter stats/ratings the POWER AGAINST LEFTIES bar is bugged, it does not show the real rating of the player. For instance, although Jake Fox bats has 3/4 of the Lefties power, in this bar it only shows 1/4.

I was playing RTTS at the shortstop position. I had the setting on All Fielding, Fast Play on. There was a play where the batter had a check swing and it went to the 3rd base ump for the ruling. The camera switches to show the umpire, who called it a no swing. but the camera stayed on the ump for the next play. And wouldn't you know it the next pitch was a ground ball to me. But I had no idea what was going on so my guy ended up just holding the ball (watched the replay). Camera should have cut back to me after the ump made his call on the check swing.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Hard to tell as it is out of my control.

Had the same thing happen except I was on first as a baserunner on first in RTTS. Check swing call camera stayed on first base ump until the ball was put in play and play ended, then switched back to normal. Has not happend again.

Sorry forgot. I play in Broadcast presentation and broadcast camera in classic RTTS watch mode. Thank you.

My friend and I play the game frequently and we both have a profile. After 3 games we found a screen that says him vs me and has our stats. However it only kept track of the 1st and 3rd games. I was 2-1 in those games but it says we were 1-1. Don't think I can recreate it as it seems random.

Side note, I noticed some people talking about a correlation between injuries and when you auto fix, the computer will make trades even when trading set to manual. Just wanted to contribute that in our franchise we have injuries OFF and the CPU still made a trade. I believe what I did was not have 4 valid lineups and just let it auto fix, and that was when the trade was made. I think the bug lies within auto-fixing, not injuries.

I played about 6 months into my RTTS career and all of a sudden I can't play a game. When I hit "Sim to next appearance" it takes me to the game I'm going to play. Once I'm done hitting my BP, the game completely freezes. It doesn't matter whether I complete BP or bypass it, the game always freezes at the spot when my guy is talking to the hitting coach. It doesn't matter if I sim to another game, it still freezes. Please help! I don't want to create another one and start from scratch!

I haven't read the entire thread, so if this has already been reported, my apologies.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? With runners on, if you hit a sharp line drive just over or through the infield, the runners will freeze like they're supposed to but then they remain frozen, so you have to manually get them moving towards the next base. I believe I can recreate it with runners on if I hit a sharp line drive just out of reach of the fielder.

How often can the bug be reproduced? I believe it's happened everytime in the scenario described above.


I remember this was an issue in 07 or 08 but it wasn't in 09.

What happened?
I hit a line drive over the SS's head and it went into LF. Then suddenly the SS had the ball! It showed it in the replay too - the SS magically just ended up with the ball.I had rounded second since it was a gapper and I was playing my brother who ended up getting me in a run down thanks to the glitch.

How often?
First time seen, no idea.

The CPU hit a fly ball into right field, my RF (CPU controlled) ran over and caught the ball on the run near the right field line and continued to keep running through the wall and into the stands. He threw the ball back in from what appeared to be outside of the ballpark.


How often can the bug be reproduced?
This only happened once so far in the 15 games I've played.

I'm sorry but that has to be the funniest bug I have ever heard of.

I hit the ball and my base runner refused to stop and was out of my control. He ran insanely fast around the bases and ended up crossing the plate. After he crossed the plate he ran into the wall and wouldn't stop jamming into the wall till he was tagged by the opposing team and umpire called him out.

Only seen this once so far.

With auto fielding on, both fly ball fielding indicators (dark circle and baseball) remain on screen even though they are turned off in the settings.

I started an exhibition game with the Yankees after downloading the scea rosters and played a game against the Tigers at Yankee Stadium and noticed that Jeter was in the lineup as the CF and Granderson was at SS. Simple fix to swap their positions but thought id bring it up.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

So far i have only played exhibition and it happens whenever I play as the Yankees.

I'm extremely dissapointed that I can not RTTS pitch with the catcher's perspective. Last year, the trick was to switch to controller port 2 then load your RTTS. They disabled that.

They spent all this time appeasing everyone by putting "Classic" or "New" options, but they cant even include the most classic baseball videogame view?
