I never had any problems with online preorders from Ebgames/Gamestop. I use this URL, ebgames.com, to preorder the games.

I also have gotten the email with classic stadium code.

I'm in the same boat....and this really pisses me the hell off.

I was just e-mailed the code from Best Buy.

Check your inbox, it should be there.

I picked up my copy at my local gamestop located at NYC's B'way village (3rd street) and when I asked for the pre-order special. Mike new exactly what I was asking for and presented it to me while he printed out my receipt.

PS. The cardboard cutout is roughly the same size of the front insert and a carbon copy of the front cover except on the lower bottom right it states this is your ticket to download the 6 classic stadiums. And as everyone else has said it's a scratch off for redeeming your code along with 4 step by step instructions.

all thede gamestop horror stories makes me wonder if the gamestop I go ti is the only competent one out there. They never forget preorder bonuses and stuff like that

Just picked up my game at Best Buy during lunch. They did not have the codes with the game.

The clerk said "I think they will e-mail it to you", I was skeptical, but when I got back to work the e-mail was waiting in my inbox!!

Mystery solved, you get the code e-mailed to you after the pick up has been confirmed.

Now the slow countdown to 5:30 begins...

Yup, I got my code emailed from Best Buy at about noon EST. The game is being delivered to my apartment, UPS has it "out for delivery" around 8:30 EST this morning.

This speaks bad for the company because you have to have an anal/with-it manager who makes sure he or she gets all of that stuff. But the company itself should be on top of making sure all of its chains get everything to satisfy what they advertise.

I also pre-ordered from Amazon.It's posted that I will recieve the code within 10 days from release day It might be awhile.

I just picked mine up from gamestop and the guy there had no idea there even was a preorder code for the game. After I asked him about it he looked in the drawer by the register and there they were

This same thing happened to me at my local Game Stop! The guy at the counter said, "you just helped out everyone else that comes in after you to pick up their preorder. I had no idea about this."

Got mine!!! The guy at Best Buy in midtown said I was lucky I pre-orderred because he said they were just about sold out.

Can't wait to get home and pop this baby in...and the wife is going to be out for a majority of the night.

Is there a set time when the codes will work. I entered mine and it took me to the download screen but when I hit download nothing happened. Now it says the code is no longer valid.
I saw that a few people said on here that the code doesn't work yet. I haven't seen anything official though.

Just picked mine up and while it's installing I thought I'd shoot this out. The clerk didn't give me a code card and when I asked him for one he replied "It's inside the case." I noticed code cards sitting behind the counter next to the register so I stated "Are you sure? Isn't that the cards right in front of you?" He said no, those were just extras. Then a customer browsing around told me "Yea, it's inside the box."

Ok, so I hiked to my car, opened the game and there was nothing inside resembling a code card! Hiked back to the store, told the clerk there was nothing inside so he handed me one of the cards I had just pointed out to him. Uggh!

I also picked up Battlefield Bad Company 2 and figured that caused the confusion because they also said the unlock cards was inside the limited edition box. This also turned out to be incorrect, so I called Gamestop when I got home and they said the code should be on the reciept. It wasn't so they had to e-mail me one. Uggh!

It's amazing they give you these impressive upsell speaches about features nobody else will get unless you pre-order. Then, when the game arrives they are clueless! And it wasn't some doofus kid working there, it was the manager who is always working there.

What a mess, and below is a picture of The Show unlock card. Print it out if you want, and if they tell you it's inside the box make them open it in front of you!

well i pre-ordered mines from best buy and went to go pick it up. i asked about the code and the lady didn't know so she went to ask someone else but they said they didn't know as well. I told them that on their website it stated that if you pre-order you will get a code to get the stadiums. they checked the website but couldn't find it anywhere.

the lady told me it could be in the box and she opened it up and didn't find it there. she then went on to ask someone to check in the back to see if they had any. they did not find any. she then told me that they could be sold out. this was about 30 minutes after they just opened. how would they sell out in 30 minutes? i don't know. anyways i just told the lady that i wanted to return the game and which i did.

So i came home to check my email and lo and behold, i get an email from best buy regarding the codes, but no game because i returned it. Now would i be able to still use this code i got when i buy the game or would it be invalid since i returned the game?
