i would love a patch to fix the ghostly morphing through players (collision detection) its sooo PS1. other games have implemented it just fine. not sure why sony says its impossible.

You're funny. Ya can't patch something like that. It's much more complex than you're depicting.

Saying PS1 is so exagerrated and inaccurate. When and where do you see the " morphing through players " ? It's actually called clipping.

It's not impossible. They've worked on it this year. I can tell because when I play, I haven't seen it anymore. I use the RTP option though.

That's not the only thing wrong with Fenway. There's no coke bottle on the light tower - it was there in MLB 08. The monster seats are way off - they start WAY too far back from the top of the wall in the game. Also, in real life people sit in the CF bleachers at night games - there's no tarp there at night....Fenway needs a lot of work.

It's not a big deal to me, but when I hit a homerun with Fielder using RTP Braun was walking back to the dugout with Fielder right behind him, Braun turned around like someone on the field called his name and Fielder walked right through him. lol, no big deal, but apparently some don't like it. Everyone has things they like and dislike.

I would like to see wristbands over long sleeves.

If I remember correctly in '09 if ur player wore short sleeves with wristbands, the wristbands would be OVER long sleeve during cold weather games....

Also as mentioned above some players by default have this capability, why can't we choose to do the same for all players!?

I wish they would add back the ability to turn off the score ticker without having to disable my PS3's internet connection. I often play The Show while recording a real MLB game on my DVR to watch after I'm done (builds delay and enables me to FF commercials, saves tons of time). Up until last year's game we were able to make the score ticker go away by signing in & out of SC, but now it still stays on. This has RUINED numerous games for me last year because I saw the score before I started watching, and it looks like it's the same this year (unless I'm missing something).

I am amazed that in the modern age of the DVR that Sony doesn't realize that it's a very bad thing to force people to see live sports scores. The live ticker is a nice feature, but PLEASE allow me to turn it off if I want. I don't want to have to remember to disable the internet every time I play The Show while real MLB games are going on.

I see. I only reacted to his post like that because I saw clipping a lot more last year. I haven't even seen an instance of it yet in this year's version.. but I'm sure I will.

If there's any way to change the scoreboards from the old style to LEDs at Progressive Field and Great American Ballpark through a patch (though I highly doubt it), that is what I would like to see.

The audio commentary to be right especially on check swing strikeouts. He's out. Not check swing strike 1 or strike 2.

1) playoff games should be SOLD OUT.
2) fix the disappearing back stop/net issue.

I second this. Scoreboard was new for the season last year at GABP, would be a nice visual change.

not a major problem...but frustrating seeing Ichiro without gloves on bases
