Re: Classic Stadiums Now Working!
This needs to be changed ASAP there is no reason we should have to be connected everytime we want to use these stadiums. I almost never have my PS3 connected, only to D/L or for updates.

Re: Classic Stadiums Now Working!
I just don't understand how you have to be connected to the PSN to use the stadiums, when if you collected all the trophies, they would be unlocked autmatically for you? I thought it was just a matter of unlocking them. It's not a HUGE deal, but now I'm going to have to call Time Warner and get them to come out and add a connection in my living room just so I can use these stadiums and stay connected to the PSN. I guess they weren't free after all.
Bonus question:
Can anyone confirm if you can use these stadiums in a season/franchise as your home stadium?
It's because SCEA, rightfully, doesn't want all the thieves out there to just install it on their system, then install the stadiums on someone else's system, then just go and 'deactivate' then 'reactivate' a system so that it no longer counts as one of the 5 actives. By forcing you to be online when you first select the stadium, Sony is able to make sure that you are a legitimate user of that stadium and not one of the many lazy thieves out there who never pay for anything and demand that everything should be perfect and free.
If you go and unlock the stadiums via the platinum trophy method, I don't imagine that the requirement to be online would be there since you can't just transfer over your trophies to another system so that other people could get the stadium for free.
So the whole reason for the online thing is to make sure you have a right to play in these stadiums and that you aren't someone who just stole the stadiums through an underhanded method.Comment

True, but the stadiums are already on the disc. This is no different than how MSFT does it either. They have DLC tied to your Gamertag.
The only difference is Sony has a weird way of profiles on the PS3. They need to make it where your PSN is your PS3 profile. And you don't have to be online to use the content, cause it is the same as the PS3 profile. Right now, the PS3 profile is separate from the PSN one. Thus it makes issues like we have here.
With the 360, the profile is the same one for Live. So you can be logged off of Live (offline) and still use DLC since it is tied to the profile. So in other words, Sony has no way of knowing your profile, until you sign on. When it should be like the 360 where the system profile is the same as the Live one (all one profile). Sony should really consider this method to avoid everyone a headache.Last edited by EnigmaNemesis; 03-04-2010, 12:18 PM.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: Classic Stadiums Now Working!
If possible why couldn't we send our code by INTERNET and SCEA could just unlock all our trophy's one time only for each code?
If the trophy's were unlocked we wouldn't need to be connected to the INTERNET after activation.
There must be a way people who pre-ordered and did everything they were suppose to do get the "Classic Parks" that they paid for.

Re: Classic Stadiums Now Working!
Last night I was playing against the Dodgers in the Polo Grounds and Russell Martin hit a foul ball onto the roof down the 3rd base side. Playing in the Polo Grounds is like playing in bizarro world.Comment
