IRL the Padres, Braves, A's and Mets didn't have a single catching error by an OF'er the entire year in 2009.

That's 4 teams selected randomly and not a single dropped ball in 648 games played IRL.

Major League OF'ers just don't drop very many balls.

As far as dropped balls. See the arguments above... You rarely see it, if at all, the game is accurate in that regard.

Absolutely LOVE this animation...even tho I think it was also in '09...it stuff like this make the game flow into realism.

I haven't done ANYTHING to the sliders and I am seeing a great amount of "variety" where the CPU loses track of the ball, takes bad angles, etc.....no issue in my book!

I've been playing spring training only( waiting for the potential bug to get fixed as well as Knights Rosters). I play on All Star and have not touched the sliders at all and get great results

Which you remind me, it happened in my first game played by the CPU. I was playing the Marlins and a routine ball was dropped ... Matt had the commentary, "and he puts it away for... oh no, and he drops it!"

Just rare like it should be.

I've noticed some gliding and/or AI player speeding up like Madden does to close gaps.

Kinda lame...but it's all purely on the computer getting the outcome it predetermined (for the AI/CPU controlled team) when the ball was put into play. If it determined a catch/or player making the fielding play...then if the player is too far away, I notice the player will glide or super-sprint over the pt to reach the ball (ground or air).

Madden 09 did this a lot. SS or FS would glide over to make a play 30 yrds away.

I've seen this happen twice...BOTH times, no error was given. Runs scored on one of the dropped balls.

There is no way they would score a play like that an error. Just like a guy diving for the ball in the outfield, catching the ball then hitting the ground and the ball pops out.

ROUTINE flyball was dropped. Not a diving drop.

did it hit the glove, or did he just flat out miss it?
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Reducing the Fielder Speed to 0 did the trick for me, well, at least the best I can expect it to be

I didn't want to lower Reaction because it seems to affect the infielders a lot more and they start letting too many weak grounders get by them...i actually raised this a bit.
