Re: MLB '10 The Show Tips and Work Arounds
For OK trades some members suggest to set trades to manual up until June first at that date switch back to auto. You will need to go day by day in the Pending transactions and see what trades are being offered, here you can either accept or reject the trade. Need any other help hit me upComment

Re: MLB '10 The Show Tips and Work Arounds
Is there a way to set injuries to MLB only? I could have sworn I saw somewhere that you could but I may have just dreamed it up.
I would really like to have MLB injuries but I hate spending 10 minutes before and after every game fixing so many minor league line-ups.Comment

Re: MLB '10 The Show Tips and Work Arounds
It is INSTANT TRADES...and you turn it on there.(not FORCE trades, right?....you just want the CPU to decide right away on it's trade decisions....correct?)
Oh...and Hustlin' Owl....thanks for holding down the fort
I've been busy.
I will update the front page this weekend.

Re: MLB '10 The Show Tips and Work Arounds
Man, I'm so confused on what would be the best way to handle my Franchise settings. I understand some things you had to do pre-patch aren't necessary for a post-patch franchise, but I'm still confused lol.
Knight or HustlinOwl, can one of you help me?
This is what I want in my franchise. I pretty much want everything to mirror real life moves meaning....
-The ability to set all 30 teams lineups and rotations and have them kept that way (CPU will still rest tired players, right?). Also if injury happens I want to be able to fix their lineup/rotation myself (or do I have to do this anyway because it could cause a freeze?). And btw, can the CPU still make their own call ups under these options? Not sure what I want to do with that, if you have a suggestion let me know.
-I want all trades and all transactions to be in my control to mirror real life moves.
If someone can help me out about the best way to go about this, I'd appreciate it. Just want to make sure the CPU isn't doing anything crazy is what I want.
Do I still have to do that thing where I use my profile for my team, and no profile for every other team? Or just do 30 team control? What would be the best way?
Thanks in advance.Last edited by CBizzle; 03-29-2010, 01:37 AM.NBA: Los Angeles Lakers

Re: MLB '10 The Show Tips and Work Arounds
I have to echo the post above as far as lineups and rotation. Do I have to take 30 team control, set everything to auto except for lineups/rotation and then they'll stick all season (and will the CPU make adjustments for rest) and will the cpu handle injuries itself?
I don't care about trades for the other teams, as long as the CPU doesn't trade my players (this was fixed with the last update, right?).Comment

CBizzle;
You will need to start with 30 team control....choose manual for trades(ONLY you will make them then)....if you want the lineups rotations as you want ALL the time(except for resting players)....you must choose manual for that. If you have it to AUTO....the CPU will still follow the lineups you choose to set until something happens that "forces" them to change them(injury...trade...)...so even with them set to AUTO...you can still go through the lineup/rotation screens and set them.
You can pretty much do this with anything even with it set to AUTO......and it will stay unless the CPU needs to make a change.
By choosing the teams at the start of franchise...(even though you give the CPU everything by setting the options to AUTO)...it still gives you a sort of "overlord" status if need be.

Re: MLB '10 The Show Tips and Work Arounds
Knight,
Does most of your work arounds work in "Season" mode too? I'm just playing season mode, so should I still follow your page 1 stuff?
I don't want my season to mirror real-life (I like my own things being able to play out in my "world") but I also don't want crazy trades or wacky lineups either.
Also, will your page #1 work arounds fix the lineup glitch we had last year (like when Sizemore started to bat clean-up after a few games)?
Thanks in advance. You and the rest of the OS community make a great game SO much better!!PS4 UserName: sinkdawgComment
