After reading some of these reasons, I have decided to wait it out until Knight's roster. But, wasn't the player potential glitch fixed on Monday's update?

Re: Comitting or Waiting?
I figured out a solution to the potential rating issues, and have started to work on my franchise roster this week. Hoping to start franchise sometime in the next couple of weeks.
Unlike many people, I actually like to control all 30 teams. But I can understand why many people do not.Comment

Re: Comitting or Waiting?
I actually started one with the Padres and spent all night naming their minor leaguers, and Im getting into it.
With that being said I have a feeling when Knight's rosters come out I will start over, wasting all that time I spent.
I couldn't wait thoughComment

Re: Comitting or Waiting?
started and not looking back. Normally I don't wait this long, but the player potential hiccup hampered franchise mode too much for me to enjoy it. Now that its been taken care of...I'm playing.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Comitting or Waiting?
Can anyone tell me the difference between Knight's rosters and the OS full minors rosters? Are they the same thing? Just always wondered about this. Thanks.Comment

Re: Comitting or Waiting?
They are mainly the same thing, maybe a few small things different. But all the big name prospects and players that are not in the game will be on both of them. Unless you really, really look into it, they are pretty much the same.Comment

Re: Comitting or Waiting?
With Monday's roster update fixing the player potential bug, I'm going to start this weekend in season mode, which doesn't seem to be as buggy as franchise mode.
If I wait until Opening Day, I'll never complete a full season. I need the head start.Comment

Re: Comitting or Waiting?
I am waiting for Knights roster but I have been getting bored of exhibition games so have had the itch to start a franchise. May do a fantasy draft one that I won't worry about stopping once I have Knight's roster. Or I may do an RTTS. My only issue with RTTS is the load times really get to me I have to admit. I haven't even tried it this year so not even sure if that has even improved. I hadn't seen anything about it so I assumed not.
But I want to play more often and I love the franchise mode. Just feels so different playing in a franchise versus exhibition.Comment

Re: Comitting or Waiting?
Playing now. The work around is good and prevents all the issues, plus I like being in control of all the teams. The rosters don't bother me because I play every game and won't see half the prospects in a year or two years anyway, as long as I got the top 100 I am fine. 13-12 in the spring so far with Seattle.EPL - Arsenal
MLB - Seattle Mariners
NBA - Cleveland Cavaliers
NFL - Philadelphia Eagles
MLS - Seattle Sounders
