Yes that would be considered wrong.

i know i'm wrong, but it gets annoying to see him closing numerous threads that are asking simple questions, and telling them to post it in one of the sticky posts. there is almost no way for a question to get answered in there.

The trouble is out of the 19 posts that you have under this particular screen name, 15 of them are plain and simple calling out the mods that close the threads...

It is at this point that one realizes you are only here to stir the pile of poo, and not to contribute and speak within a forum setting.

In other words, you are not playing nicely with others.

I have also made a comment or two about the manner in which some of the threads are attended to, and made my peace with the party I felt I needed to address. Aside from the fact that he deleted the post of which I speak, I realize that I would not want to wade through the mire of crap that gets posted on the boards trying to keep things from becoming cluttered and off topic.

So, although your stay, under the 19 posts of nionio1671 was a short one, perhaps the next one will be a bit less contentious, and within the rules of the place you chose to join.

Good post SYF. I too feel that the mods have been closing down threads prematurely, only because I have seen the OS community doing a great job with policing its own the last few weeks. There have been some great debates on here, especially the franchise issue threads, and there have been some not so great threads. The ones that are childish and immature are jumped on almost immediately by the community at large. That is one of the reasons the founding fathers believed free speech was a good thing. Nobody wants to live in a fascist regime (not saying that this is one). I believe that the mature members have proven the ability to thoroughly shut down the trouble makers. This thread is a pretty good example of that. You have one guy out of line and two pages of admonishments for it. Just my opinion on the matter.
