I havent posted on this site in quite some time and thats exactly what i noticed as well, people are taking this a bit too serious. At the end of the day this is just a video game guys, i understand the anger if someone intentionally posts something stupid or tries to cause trouble, but lay off the guy who thinks something is cool and wants to share it with us. Jeez

I did similar in Madden 07, drafted a QB in the 3rd round that had the same name as a friend (told him later and he said "it's nice to know I suck in a parallel universe as well"). Said player was a backup the entire time he was on my team cause I still had Vince Young.

Back in topic. Has anyone seen super devs with all star numbers? It's nice to see a dev in the majors with limited playtime, but for some purists, I can see issues with it.

Ha! Kind of like when Jeter comes to Fenway and gets the Over-rated call from the crowd. Yeah, or NOT.

As a Sox fan, I hate A-Rod, Joba, and Tex... but I have nothing but respect for Jeter. He might play for a team whose plane could plunge headlong into the side of the Andes and they could eat each others' frozen corpses until there was no one left, and I would barely care...

But you have to give proper respect to a gamer.

He's got it from me...

So, while I find the Over-rated clap clap clap-clap clap to be an amusing part of the atmosphere, sometimes it is just silly.

In my Royals franchise, I noticed Greg Batalucco pitching in the majors for Detroit, despite being their lowest rated player. I'm on the Tigers in my RTTS, and he kept blowing games late until he was finally sent back to Single A

Exactly. This is not a job or anything to be taken all that serious. It is a sports video game, a past time that most of us play to relax. I get enough of being bossed around and told what I can't do during the day at work. I enjoy topics like this and topics that express joy or even disapointment with the game. Its all good.
