top of the 9th, NYY at Twins. Pitcher John Rauch vs Curtis Granderson. Granderson hits a deep fly along the right field line, it's one of those that could go fair or foul... broadcaster says it bounces into the stands for a ground rule double... but i never see the ball, it looks like a homerun... but after the screen cuts, it goes back to Rauch pitching to Granderson, as if nothing happened, certainly didnt get credit for the hit and Granderson was not one base. Subsequently I grounded out.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

It happened when I completed a game, thought it saved, re-enter season, game is not recorded as win or loss, but stats and rotation is updated.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Happened 2 times. Both after a game my 5th starter had pitched.

The division/wildcard tiebreaker is incorrect. In one situation the reds and cubs tied for both. So no playoff game. However the Reds got the division title even when they lost to the cubs head to head in the reg season. They did have a better division record, but that should be 2nd if the head to head matchup is a tie.
I simmed to the end of the season to see the tie procedures. Saved it near the end to see the different results. Have both wild cards tied and 3 divisions. Will try this a few times and edit if I catch more.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

I reproduced that one twice, the other scenerios have the proper playoff game after 162 is played.

situational, however a line drive hit into left center in PNC Park, near the 411 sign. center fielder cannot field the ball, just runs indefinately into the wall trying to get to the ball.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

assuming it can be done by any line drive hit into left center of PNC park in pittsburgh

Had a 3 way tie between STL, CIN and COL for the wild card. The two central teams finished 1 game behing the Cubs for the division.
CIN vs STL....CIN wins....next day they play COL and win a second playoff game to get in.
However the game counted those two wins as regular season(which I guess is correct as far as wins but not this) and then awarded the central division to CIN with a the two playoff games counting and giving them 1 more win then CHC. The cubs then lost the division they had already clinched and pushed back to the wild card winner, CIN getting the division.
That one should be fixed above all tiebreaker situations.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Simmed it three times, so I got the same result with CIN winning the 2 games. They got the division each time due to having the half game lead when all totals were considered.

Any time a line drive goes towards second baseman the ball goes thru him. It's impossible to catch even jumping or diving. What should be a routine out turn into a double sometimes.

Almost every time a line drive is hit toward second baseman

I hear ya. Just lost my last game. I had the cpu hit the ball down the third base line twice in the game and both times the 3rd baseman over ran the ball and the ball went thru his leg. It happens way to much including going thru the players glove.

I've seen it twice in RTTS & once in Franchise mode so far.

When playing RTTS as a catcher, on two separate occasions with a fast runner on first I call for the pitch-out and the pitcher does it, but he throws the PO to the same side that the batter is standing and it hits him with the pitch (real hard in the head). Both times the runner was going on the pitch, so instead of getting rewarded for guessing right, I am punished for being heads-up and now have 2 runners on base to deal with. I do not remember the handedness off the pitcher or batter on these but I do in the next example.

Tonight I was playing a franchise game, Yankees vs Red Sox, 7th inning of a tie game...Joba on the mound (me), Pedroia leads off the inning with a single, I get VMart & Youkilis out, and with Big Papi up I select PO because I had a hunch Pedroia might take off, Pedroia stays put but Joba nails Papi in the batters box (RHP vs LHB), 2 on 2 out and then Beltre hits one over the monster. I came back within 1 run of tying, but came up short, so that HBP pretty much cost me the game.

How often can the bug be reproduced?:

Not sure, because there have been a number of other times when I was able to execute the Pitch Out with no problem. I suspect that it has something to do with the specific combination of the pitcher/batter handedness when the PO is called.

I have no idea if this bug has been submitted using the proper template, so I figured I'd make sure it is. I couldn't bear to read the 20 pages of bugs in this thread in fear that I may learn about too many that I haven't come across yet (ignorance is bliss).

You can file this one under the "minor graphical glitch" department but...

Playing a game at the Rogers Centre, I noticed the fans knocking around a big beach ball out in the Lower level of the Outfield seats. I saw the ball get knocked straight up and go through the floor of the level of seats above it, and then continued to get knocked around on the upper level.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Due to the random nature of actually seeing the beach ball, I've only seen this once.

There was a man on 3rd with two outs. Groundball to first. First baseman stepped on first for the third out but they counted the run scored. Not sure if I can recreate it.

HR down the line at Comerica Park. 2 Outs, runner on first. Ball goes over the wall in fair territory, but game acts as if ball is still in play.

Not too sure at the moment. But it isn't the first HR/no HR issue I've seen so far.

Louie Castillo at the plate, first pitch foul, but the count at home plate stays at 0-0. I swung and miss on purpose on the next two pitches and the count went to 0-2. Then I again swung on purpose and I was struck out. So it looks like the game didn't count the foul ball as a strike.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

First time in over three weeks or so of play.

The game locks up or freezes after an injury, beach ball on the field or 1st base umpire argument animation. Happens weather it's my user controlled player or cpu players. Tried skipping the animations and letting them play all the way through but freezes either way.


How often can the bug be reproduced?
50-50 beach ball removal, 75 percent of the time after a player injury and 100 percent after umpire argument.

I was pitching with my relief pitcher Noah Lowry. Michael Bourn steals second on me as I throw it down, and then I lob it back to home for no apparent reason, but is an overthrow which allows Bourn to get to third. He scores on the next pitch which is a 3U ground out. Lowry is charged with an earned run. This runner technically should still be on second base in the hypothetical situation that no throwing error was made prior, so he would have only advanced to third base on this ground out, and only on another base knock would have he scored and that run been earned. This should be an unearned run until said situation pops up, which it didn't since the next batter flew out.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Probably every time. I'm not sure if this game takes into account runners that advance from errors when they were already safely on base, as well as these hypothetical situations (it would be difficult logic, but it's better than giving a pitcher an earned run that shouldn't have been).

The ol' two base award for a ball thrown out of play excludes the pitcher, especially on pickoffs. The pitcher attempted to pick me off at first and overthrew it out of play. I was awarded third base as a result. This is, by MLB definition, incorrect. I should only be at second base.
