    Re: Information--amatuer draft MLB10--bug?

I am in the middle of testing that now....I am seeing the cpu still trade. If they are losing they trade big veterans for minor leaguers. I see players being signed mid year again, still being placed in minors and not on 40 but signed. I am only in year one, need to get to offseason and a couple years down road see how arbitration and such pans out, but so far this may be a suitable work around.

I am not going to get too excited until I further test, but I don't see the royals trading for A rod.

It's something about the 2013 off season I believe.
I just did a test with budgets ignored and there were still some prime guys on the FA list for the beginning of 2014.
I PM'ed Kolbe...they are probably still on vacation...but I'm sure he'll respond one way or the other.
I have save files for him from end season to after off season...so he can see what's transpiring.

Ok thanks for letting me know. I can stop now then. The "old lady" is getting mad so I better spend time with her.

Did you see the cpu sign players with budgets off? I saw smoltz and dye sign.

I have faith in the devs to fix this. I just hope they take their time and get manage mode done along with the franchise issues.

If not, I'll spend more time in my pool room.

Just to clarify, setting "ignore budgets" to ON is the same thing as turning budgets off? Or is there another setting I'm missing?

Regardless, with ignore budgets ON I still saw 30+ A overall players on the free agent list. It also looked like every teams MLB rotation were stacked. Pretty much a franchise/game killer. I'm guessing the same thing happens in RTTS?

Definitely not buying 11 if this isnt patched in 10. SCEA, emphasis on the EA.

Budgets off does not seem to have any affect this year.
