The only reason I would consider using it ... is to make dumb pitches and give up more runs and walks.

But I'd rather make my own dumb decisions!

Even though I have API off, the catcher still puts down signs for pitch #1-4# or #4 with a shake meaning the 5th pitch. I wish the pitcher would just either nod or shake the head afterwards like the cpu does.

Yes! Because with API on the catcher gives you a pitch and by you choosing a different pitch than he tell you, you will automatically shake him off. OR if you press the R2 button, he will make a "Recall" sign asking for the pitch call gain.

There's no way you can shake your cathcer off like the CPU, tried all the buttons last night and.... nada, zilch, zero. All R2 does is motion for another pitch. Maybe in 11 it'll showup.

            Yep there is no way.

It is a good point to bring up for MLB11. When the catcher calls the pitch, to have some button to shake off and ask for another sign.

The best use of this would be if they took the catcher a step further next year and added a rating on calling games. Some catchers are just good at defense and maybe hitting. While some are just great at calling games and pitchers prefer to use them. This should be in the game.

As it is now, I don't bother with what the catcher calls for since he only has the same suggestion and I go prefer to call my own game. I would condsider using the feature if they made it based on a catcher's game calling intelligence. Of course you could still ignore it, but would be cool to maybe sacrifice calling a good game with offensive catchers if you follow their advice more often.

            The Golf Club created courses:

Ashford Pines Golf Club (front 9)

            Full version release June 2016

Challenging course without the cheap gimmicks.
