Re: Pause menu Information for MLB '11
What's the difference between pressing start and pressing select? With runners on base, there should be a graphic showing the speed of the runners on, so I know if I need to beware of a steal attempt. Right now in order to view players speed on base I have to hit start. I would like to be able to see this by pressing select. Also have the wind speed and direction, so I don't need to press start to see it. Thanks.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Yes to thisI would like to see the batter's average in the different hot and cold zones within the strike zone. Also, wondering if the batter's spray chart could be dynamic instead of static? Maybe still have his overall spray chart from the previous year but press a button to reveal the current one.
Specific stats against that pitcher: k's, H, HR, Doubles, Triples, HBP etc.
Pls add the number of doubles and triples and the stolen base the batters have so far during the season on the batter analysis screen. .Fantastic, pls look into adding that.I love the new "schedule to put in" option in the bullpen screen, and think this tool could be expanded.
For instance, if I'm batting and my pitcher is due up fourth in the inning, I'd like to "schedule" a pinch hitter. If the pitcher spot comes up to bat, my pinch hitter is all ready to go. But if it's a 1-2-3 inning, the pitcher can go back out on the mound, and the pinch hitter will still be scheduled to bat in the next inning.
With this in mind, I'd like the pinch hitter option to be selectable when you are in the field, and the defensive sub option selectable when you are at bat.
I agree, this would be another great element if it was added.
- Ability to bring up players cards
- Pitch counts per inningComment

The ability to bring up player cards for both user and cpu, so I can see all the attributes for all the players on both teams.Comment

Re: Pause menu Information for MLB '11
On the select screen where you can press square to view the pitches and speed, you can do the same thing next to the pitch count, where pressing triangle will let you view pitch count per inning, K's per inning, and bb's per inning. It would just be a table with those four columns(inning, pitches, K's, bb's).
It would be helpful to see if the pitcher has been consistently having long innings or he's just missing his pitches in the later innings and that's why his pitch count is so high.My football alliances: E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles AND Hokie Hokie Hokie HiComment

Re: Pause menu Information for MLB '11
One thing I would like to see in the pause menu.
After hitting pause....if it is possible to still have the other keys function....I would like to see other buttons bring up...
- the scouting report on the player
- a lineup card that I can make substitutions on (and flip it to see the current lineup and bench/bullpen(with the pitcher status/availability) of the opposing team
- split stats for the pitcher/batter matchup...and be able to highlight other players(say for pinch hitting).....and have that info for a possible move.

another thing is the defensive subs screen. Right now, you make one defensive sub then it auto jumps back in the game, shows the cut scene and announces it, then u have to pause again to make another change
Allow a person to make their defensive subs all at onceComment

Re: Pause menu Information for MLB '11
The defensive substitution screen might be more useful if:
-- Show players by position on the diamond, rather than the lineup
-- Show fielding percentage (or UZR rating, if you're really ambitious) for players instead of the tally of putouts/errors
-- Allow player to make defensive shifts out of the same screen, visually see it on the diamond before confirming
-- Allow multiple substitions to be executed at once, after player confirms all selectionsComment

Re: Pause menu Information for MLB '11
I'd like to see the current pitcher's pickoff move rating somewhere in the pause menu, to help me decide if I should try to steal or not. I suppose this counts as another request for having the ability to view player cards when paused.Comment
