Re: MLB '10 Incorrect Commentary Thread
Game mode: Franchise
Incorrect Commentary: I fouled off a pitch WAY back into the right-field stands at Rogers Centre. (It was so far foul, that no fielders even moved to attempt to play it). Matt V. chimed in to the effect of "And they can't get to it and it falls in!"
Why was it incorrect: It didn't "fall in", the ball was about 15 rows into the seats.Comment

Re: MLB '10 Incorrect Commentary Thread
I will re-report this. I've heard it as well.Game Mode: RTTS
Incorrect Commentary: Matt V. "Ball lined into the gap for a base hit. This will get down out there for extra bases."
Why Was It Incorrect: The ball was softly lined over the SS and the LF got to it before I had even touched 1B. No chance of it being extra bases.Comment

Re: MLB '10 Incorrect Commentary Thread
Similar thing happens to me.
My RTTS player is on the Nationals and the commentators keep calling them the Mets at random points during the game.Comment

Re: MLB '10 Incorrect Commentary Thread
Game Mode: Franchise
Incorrect commentary: "He reached into the seats and took that one away" on a foul pop up in the infield.
Why it was incorrect: The pop up didn't get close to the seats and my players are able to catch them normally without reaching over anything.Comment

Re: MLB '10 Incorrect Commentary Thread
Game mode (Exibition, Franchise, etc..)?
Season
Incorrect Commentary?
One of the announcers mention every game how many HRs or RBI (or steaks) a player has in the current month.
Why was it incorrect?
It doesn't seem to realize when a new month rolls over. It can be the first day of the month and the announcers will say something to the tune of "He has 9 HRs this month."
Game mode (Exibition, Franchise, etc..)?
Season
Incorrect Commentary?
One of the announcers mentions that the bases are loaded in the 9th inning.
Why was it incorrect?
Really there are just two men on (2B and 3B). I've heard this two or three times through 80 games of my season.
Atlanta Braves - Auburn Tigers - Nashville Predators

Re: MLB '10 Incorrect Commentary Thread
Game Mode: RTTS
Incorrect Commentary: Not sure which announcer says it but it is something along the line of "He could really use a lead off single right here."
Why Was It Incorrect: This always happens when there are 1 or 2 outs so I'm obviously not leading off the inning. Very frequent occurrence.I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

Re: MLB '10 Incorrect Commentary Thread
Game Mode: Every game
Incorrect Commentary: Martin Prado
Why Was It Incorrect: The player's name is pronounced Mar-tee-nne Prado. Matt says one pronunciation and the PA guy says another. In fact, there are a lot of players that both Matt & the PA announcer are different in their pronunciations.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: MLB '10 Incorrect Commentary Thread
Game Mode: RTTS
Incorrect Commentary: During the NLCS Playoff series in RTTS. During one "cut-scene" presentation, a graphic comes on the screen showing the various Playoff brackets. Matt V says something along the lines of "the winner of this series will have a tough time ahead of them, as they'll face the Boston Red Sox, who have already won the ALCS."
Why was it incorrect: Boston</ST1
and their opponent (OAK) were deadlocked in their series at 1 - 1.

Re: MLB '10 Incorrect Commentary Thread
Game Mode: RTTS
Incorrect Commentary: With no one on base in a 1 - 0 game, my SS fielded a sharply hit groundball, and promptly overthrew first base, allowing the runner to safely reach first on the error. The announcer began explaining how terrible it is that my Error allowed the tying run to come in and score. I repeat, there was no one on base, so no one had come in to score.
A variation on this bug is the announcer saying "What a terrible time for an unearned run to cross".
Why was it incorrect: No one had scored.Comment

Re: MLB '10 Incorrect Commentary Thread
I had this one occur in fenway, on what was a glitch as well. Curveball in the dirt, skips up and actually hops out of play behind the dish, where the net should have been to stop the ball ( that's the glitch ), since it was strike three, the runner got second base. The comment was "terrible time for the tying run to score", i was laughing all over that play.Game Mode: RTTS

Re: MLB '10 Incorrect Commentary Thread
Game Mode: RTTS
Incorrect Commentary: Wtih runners on first and second and no out I get a hit and the run scores and the commentator says "and thats something they haven't been able to do all series....hit with 2 outs".
Why was it incorrect: There was no one out in the inning.
Game Mode: RTTS
Incorrect Commentary: Hit a ball about 25 rows into the stands and the commentator says "and they can't run it down" referring to a foul ball that landed just down the line.
Why was it incorrect:There was no way the outfielder/infielder had any chance of "running down the ball"Last edited by I_am_Canadian; 04-20-2010, 01:07 PM.Comment

Re: MLB '10 Incorrect Commentary Thread
You're talking about NEW generated players right? Not the random Joes that are on the roster to begin with correct? Yes this was an annoyance in 09 as well (especially if you can't edit them yourself to have the correct name said).Comment
