Incorrect Commentary: If they win this, they will move to 3 games over .500.

Why Was It Incorrect: In the previous game, they said the same thing, but said I would move to 7 games over .500. In reality, I am 48 games over .500.

Incorrect Commentary: ... and that evens up the count to the Ray's right fielder.

Why Was It Incorrect: Ben Zobrist is playing second base for me, not right field in the game. Commentary should match the position currently played, not his primary position.

Incorrect Commentary: All he needs is a flyball to score that runner from third.

Why Was It Incorrect: My previous batter had hit a solo home-run...there was nobody on base, nor had there been at any point during the inning.

Why Was It Incorrect: I only have 300 or so hits.

Incorrect Commentary: "Of all the times to have an error, as that pushes the tying run across the plate!"

Why it was incorrect: Score was 2-2, bottom 7th, Florida batting with a runner on first. I tried to pick him off but threw it into the stands. The runner naturally goes to third and yet the commentators are saying that he scored.

Game Mode: RTTS

Incorrect Commentary: I tell ya, I really like the way he's pitched out there. He's going after guys. He's working ahead in the count. He's done all the things you want in a young pitcher.

Why Was It Incorrect: I came in as a reliever and faced ONE batter and struck him out. The line implies I've pitched at least a couple innings.

I apologize for anything that's already been said in this thread but it's hard go through 12, almost 13 pages and still remember everything that was said but anyway here's the list of the incorrect commentaries that I've heard while playing various games of "MLB 10 The Show" on my PS3.

Both happened during Franchise Mode.

Incorrect Commentary 1. I was playing as the Indians against the Mariners in Cleveland. It was the bottom of the 4th with 1 out and a runner at 3rd base. I had Mark DeRosa at the plate. He was able to hit a long fly ball that was caught by an outfielder however the runner at 3rd scored. The announcer said something along the lines of he got the job done with that sac fly in order to score the 1st run of the game.

Why was it incorrect? It was actually the 4th run of the game by my team.

Incorrect Commentary 2. I've heard a few times the announcer refer to Grady Sizemore as a leadoff hitter regardless of where he's batting. I can't really seem to find a pattern of when the announcer usually refers to him as a leadoff hitter either, all I'm certain about is that it usually happens when he's on deck.

Why is this incorrect commentary? The only time Sizemore ever bats leadoff for me is if he leads off the 2nd or following innings because I never have him bat leadoff. He usually bats either 4th or 5th in the batting order for me.

I know another poster mentioned the Sizemore thing but I thought I would mention it as well considering I included a little more info regarding it so I hope no one has an issue with that at all.

Incorrect Commentary: Here in the later inngs these shadows will become more of a problem for the hitters. (something to that nature)

Why was it incorrect: It was a NIGHT game, in the 8th inning. Completely dark.

Also an annoying fact that happens when playing with the Rockies at home. A batter will get a hit and Matt goes into this diatribe about how the hitter, regardless of who it is, is now the all-time hit leader in all of baseball. Please. This was also present in the 09 version with the Rockies.

Incorrect Commentary: And he misses with this pitch and the count goes to 2-1 to the Tigers right fielder.

Why Was It Incorrect: It was a 2-0 count, and the pitch that "missed" was a strike down the heart of the plate to make it a 2-1 count. The pitch didn't miss at all, it was a strike. Also, it was to Ryan Raburn who was the Tigers left fielder, not right fielder.

Incorrect Commentary: The announcer says something along the lines of "it's a foul ball and you can feel it hit Napoli's mask."

Why Was It Incorrect? I was playing as the Indians and I was playing the Angels in Progressive Field. It was the Top of the 2nd inning so the Angels were batting. Napoli was batting and he fouled a ball off which hit my own Catcher's mask so it hit my Catcher's mask, it didn't hit Napoli's mask because he was the one who was batting at the time.

Incorrect Commentary: Wtih runners on first and second and no out I get a hit and the run scores and the commentator says "and thats something they haven't been able to do all series....hit with 2 outs".

Why was it incorrect: There was no one out in the inning.


Game Mode: RTTS

Incorrect Commentary: Hit a ball about 25 rows into the stands and the commentator says "and they can't run it down" referring to a foul ball that landed just down the line.

Why was it incorrect:There was no way the outfielder/infielder had any chance of "running down the ball"

I've noticed this one a lot in all modes. Not just RTTS.

Incorrect Commentary: "It's just off the first baseman's glove for a base hit!"

Why was it incorrect? It was a foul ball. The commentary didn't start until after it was ruled foul.

Incorrect Commentary: Martin Prado

Why Was It Incorrect: The player's name is pronounced Mar-tee-nne Prado. Matt says one pronunciation and the PA guy says another. In fact, there are a lot of players that both Matt & the PA announcer are different in their pronunciations.

Ya that is true, even Troy Glaus, in 09 they say Gl-ou-se.
