It's pretty easy to understand why a smaller issue gets fixed. It's a matter of coding different parts of the body to have a reasonable response. It's a matter of getting the AI to respond to the coding. Put it in a wishlist, but I'm thinking SCEA already has this on their radar for next year.

Isn't it great that this collision finally made it into the game? Can you look at it that way?

I like to think about it as going the the bathroom... and you have to take a #1 and a #2 but only have time to do one of them.

I'm the type of guy that would do the #1, enjoy it, and make sure its perfect. Rather than rush the #2, make it all messy, and have problems afterward.

I'm sure they wanna fix this but personally I'd rather see one thing done well then ten things done.

same here, that gets really frustrating. i get picked off all the time too, and i can't seem to make a diving catch in the outfield.

as good and realistic as most players look, the thing that really grinds my gears is the catcher's chest protectors make them look like backwards ninja turtles.

this is Tigers catcher Alex Avila in real life vs the game. if they could just tighten up that catchers gear i'd be so happy.

rain would be cool, delays/rain outs could make for some interesting franchise mode play, but would get annoying if they happened too often.

My wish for every sports game is to take a long, hard look at NFL Head Coach 09's franchise mode.

Team roadmaps especially. For those who didn't play it, it had CPU teams always aware of ways they can improve their roster, so you never saw an all star on the free agent list long.

I want them to add nothing new for next year and just take the time to fix everything that is wrong with this year. I know people will complain that it is just a roster update, but it would be nice to have a game that functions correctly right out of the box.

If they have to add something, I would request a franchise import function so that I can keep playing my current franchise on the new game. Otherwise I will just pass on next year if I can manage to keep my current franchise fun through 2013 free agency glitch.

I would rather them not put this part of the game in after seeing the end result. Overall the game is great (that's why I've played over 100 games in my season), but the comebackers to the mound are just ridiculous. Even if the liner doesn't injure the pitcher, they are not going to run to the ball like nothing ever happened and make the play. Also, I don't know how many times I've seen the pitcher get nailed (30+ times at least I'm sure) and my pitcher is the only one ever to have come away injured, that's just rubbing it in LOL.

I agree with rain, rain delays, and deeper weather. I would love for this to be in the game.

I would love for the draft, draft classes and scouting to get an overhaul. Free agency obviously needs work, although I'm not sure how much the latest patch has helped. Franchise in general needs a lot of TLC after this year.

A Franchise import feature would be amazing. It would allow me to play more (or all) games each year.

I don't think it's the end result.

Guys are complaining because a ball off the face should mean the pitcher is immediately out of the game, on the DL, etc. Let's be glad the collision part is in finally and that SCEA is working on a way to code it correctly so that a particular shot off a particular part of the body hit at a particular speed results in a particular response from the AI. See what I'm getting at? Let's see what they get done for next year.

My only wish is for the developers to see into my mind and know all the things I want and don't want (even the things I think I want, but really, I don't) and get them in the game without any bugs...early...for free...and start showing me screen shots and videos of it all tomorrow. While I'm at it, one other thing: I would like the devs to do this for every other fan even if the things they wish for are completely opposite and contradictory of mine...I want them all in simulataneously and for the game to determine who is playing it and change accordingly.

For whole $60, they should at least be able to do these things. Seems easy enough to me.

My request is simple...

Please add Total amount of pitches thrown to the scoreboard so that I don't have to pause the game to look at it.

(example: YES Network)

I think there isn't too much left to tweak with this game..here are my thoughts for MLB 11

1. Please fix the collision..on everything..players still pass through each other like ghosts

2. Fix the Green Monster..as a Sox fan..Please!!

3. More variety on the chit chat commentary..i'm still hearing commentary from 07!

4. More facts and stats about particular players and situations

5. Weather should play a bigger part..Rain delays, no..but cloudy, rainy, foggy, windy, maybe even some snow flurries for those early spring games

6. A crowd that is more unique..i usually see the same 10 people in one section jumping up and down..the crowd interaction is good and there needs to be more variety..not just the two or 4 same people grabbing at grounders in the foul zone..

7. Double Headers would be nice

8. fights

9. being able to call for an appeal

10. better umps

Not necessarily. Scheduled double headers used to be the norm..not so much anymore.
