Joe Buck, Tim McCarver and Steve Lyons. I also like the play by play guys that do the Texas games and the Red games I think they both do play by play for the Fox Saturday games.

Josh Lewin and Tom Grieve are really good in real life, but they wouldn't transition at all into a game. Lewin and Grieve play off each other well, and they help the game go along when there is a blowout in place. They also call the game extremely well at all times, but they tell a lot of stories (especially about TAG's old timey-ness).

For the game, I think Matt Vasgersian does a really good job as play- by- play, and Dave Campbell does an average job. Cut Rex Hudler and add some new lines, and I think they have no worries.

I dont care who it is so long as they actually change the style its done in.

The only thing 2K10 does right is the commentary, go and listen to it on a video, it sounds as though they are commentating on a real game, totally different to the scripted diatribe and appalling jokes Dave and Rex do on The Show. Matts good but again he needs to more sort of "talk" the commentary, as he would do in reality, get rid of the canned scripting, it sounds like what it is, commentating on a video game.

I love The Show to death but one of the key things stopping it from having that broadcast authenticity is the commentary.

I repeat, its not so much what is said but the way and style in which it is said.

I really hope SCEA is in the process of changing this part of an otherwise stellar game.

I really think there should be a few diffferent teams of commentators.

I know this is a huge stretch but get all the commentators for each team. Whichever team you play as, you get that teams announcers.

For example, you play as the Red Sox, you get Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy. If you play as the Yankees, you get John Sterling and Michael Kay, etc.

I think its a cool idea, but will it happen? Probably not. Either way I'm content with the announcers we got now.

Keep Matt and Dave Campbell. Add Vin Scully for solo commentary. I don't know whether too many announcers would have an impact on memory issues w/the game. Therefore, Rex could be dropped and Scully added. If there is room for another announcer, that person can go solo or w/ a color commentator. I think 3 choices would be reasonable. Buck and McCarver would be nice or Morgan and Miller

I think that if they do decide to make a change ( and I think its time to update the commentating trio after 4 years of the same announcers and 80% repetitive lines) I think they'll go with a more nationally known announcers as apposed to a more local duo like broadcasters from the pirates or yankees even though there are some that are nationally known.

im not sure if your aware, but thats not an actual crew. Hamilton works with hegan and manning works with underwood.

i would love Hamilton as the play by play and hershiser as the color man. Manning wouldnt be bad because he is extremely knowledgeable and very good behind the mic. But i dont care for him because he is like Joe Morgan and thinks he knows everything. The difference being that morgan is usually wrong and manning isnt

I'm pretty sure that I would rather hear anyone other than Vin Scully (in a real MLB game or an MLB video game), Fox Sports South's Mike Hogewood and especially this (link) announcer who also does Fox Sports South baseball games.

I would love to hear Harold Reynolds and/or Bob Uecker as a part of a team.
