Either Carpenter or Wainwright. I haven't played in a while and its tough to differentiate the two because both of them have pretty similar stuff, a hard fastball that gets countered with a gigantic looping curve. I try and play against them but usually end up getting frustrated and quit. So now whenever I see they're due against me I tend to simulate. But I've made it to the postseason and vowed not to sim through games and I've been stuck on Game 1 VS Carpenter for like 2 weeks. Apparently their stuff gets even nastier come post season.

I also would like it to be know that in one game in my franchise I absolutely tagged Halladay. Ended up going for about 8 team HRs in about 5 innings. I'll double check the box score but it was something ridiculous.

Most lefties with good change of speeds get to me. Rowland-Smith is the worst so far. The first time I faced him he struck out 17 on his way to a shutout. Since then, I think I have beaten him one time, while striking out at least half a dozen I am sure. He just kills me. Just faced Kershaw and he was tough as well.

I can't hit him, 74 mph change up with sick movement and a fastball you have to respect around 90. When I'm facing him it's getting pretty ugly. Flailing at pitches in the dirt or getting jammed by his fastball. Easily the most frustrating pitcher out there.

Verlander is really tough but at least I manage to get his pitch count up so that I'll have a chance in the 8th + 9th inning

in my rtts like 5 years in, i have faced at least 3 different guys with 96mph fastballs and 65mph knuckles. its scary. i DID hit a home run on one of those knuckles though, it felt sooooooooooooo good. but my overall average against these guys has to be below .300

The pitcher who has had my number more than any other has to be Fausto Carmona. He's shut me out twice and went a full 9 innings 3 times. I've scored runs off of him but cant seem to get the ones that count.

So here it is for me, top 5 for my least favorite pitches. I've had the hardest time with these since using OSFMV4:

5. Johan Santana's Fastball. -__- movement, movement, movement.

4. Trevor Hoffman as a whole. Dude dropped a 71 MPH Change on me and I couldn't wait long enough. Then he threw me 86 that felt like 96 because of the change.

3. Tim Wakefield's Knuckler. THAT SHXT MOVES TOO MUCH!

2. Yovani Gallardo's 12-6. It gets to the bottom of the zone so quick and I swing through on a ball in the dirt, because it looks good... at first.

1. Mike Pelfrey's (I think) Slurve. No comment.

Josh Johnson....hands down --- so tough to judge, nasty breaking stuff and a heavy FB...i hate starting my Mets franchise off against him......

Hard to say, sometimes the worst, unheard of pitcher gives me fits, and I hit the ace hard. for me it depends on the type of pitcher, the angle they throw at, if i can pick up the ball.

The other day a guy who was 1-8, with a 8,00 era, shut me out lol. Seemed he was painting corners all game and I was having issues picking up the ball from his hand. every time i took the first 2 pitches it was 0-2. Sometimes it seems the AI makes up its mind it is going to shut you down and you cant do anything about it.

Side arm pitchers seem to give me issues when they put them in the game from the bullpen. I often k 3 times in a row, lol.

Same here. When I see a sidearm/submarine pitcher coming into the game, I reach for an aspirin because I know a headache is coming.

I used to struggle against them too, but you gotta realize they throw in the bottom 1/3 of the zone a lot. Just place the L stick there and wait for the pitch. I used to hate facing Meredith from the Orioles. Now I just place the L stick in the bottom of the zone and hammer him. Usually after 2 or 3 quick hits he gets pulled.

Just got the game a week or so ago, haven't played much, but O'Day of Rangers gave me a strong headache. Either I stuck out or hit a ground ball for infield out. When I was playing MVP Baseball on PC, I always had trouble with those sidearm/submarine pitchers. It got to a point where I edited all those guys to have "normal" deliveries, also known as Generic 1, and that solved the problem.

I once had O'Day strike out the side on 9 straight pitches out of the zone. I hate that guy. I am thinking about signing him in the off season just so I never have to face him again. Same for Rowland-Smith
