Players who are active, but aren't in this year's game

I have come across many players, mainly ones that spent a lot of time in the minors inbetween major league stints, such as Ryan Tucker and Romulo Sanchez and Dennis Sarfate, who aren't in this years game. I would like to know who else should be in MLB 10 but are not for any reason.
I realize these players these players can come in updates, but I don't like downloading a lot of rosters for players who should have been there all ready.

Most of these players I got looking at all the rosters for MLB 09 The Show, and I'm sure there are many more. If you find any, please list them. I realize some of these players recently or are playing in Japan, but it would have been nice to still have had these players, unless it's banned to do that. If any of these players are in 10 The Show, or have retired, please tell me. Even free agents that haven't played for some time that aren't retired, such as the aforementioned Jimmey Edmonds and Mark Grudzielanek. Speaking of Grudzielanek, it would also be nice to have a bigger letter limit so we could fit his name in if we have to make him like this year. Also for Al Alberquerque on the Rockies.

Yeah, that's annoying...considering the commentators are capable of saying "Grudzielanek" but it can't be his last name.

Chad Cordero plays for the Seattle Mariners on my A's Franchise. I did the latest roster update though.

A lot of those guys on that list didn't play last year. That's the only reason i can think that they're not in the game with real portraits.

That's what I'm thinking, it's just that it would still be nice to have them on the default rosters. Unless because they didn't play and that takes them out of the MLBPA (i dont know a lot about that stuff), they should still put them in the game.

It can't be the MLBPA, because I just looked at the rosters for MLB 2K10 and some of these players are in it, including ones that haven't played for a year or so.

If SCEA misses some players, I wouldn't mind as much if they give us the ability to edit service time and career stats.

I don't think it could be the MLBPA because Tony Pena Jr. is still in the game as a relief pitcher, which he's been learning for the last couple of years in the minors. I think I remember hearing before that the rule is they can only put players that have served time in the MLB in the game. So that would include all the missing players.

It sure does annoy me too.. especially when u look through the default roster and the newest update.. you will notice maybe 20 players missing.. off to the FA2, I'm working on a roster myself from the update like a couple weeks or 3 ago and went through the players and I'm like isn't he suppsoed to be in.. then checked the default... damn. Lots of them are still in the game IRL but in the minors and SCEA takes them out into hidden ARGH!!!

Almost makes me want to stop working on the rosters and start from fresh from the default rosters (as the A level doesn't really show up in game anyways.. so fake uneditable can stay there lol) But the problem is... I'm half way through so... AGH!

It is most definately not the MLBPA because Kei Igawa is in the game and he hasn't played in the MLB in 2 years. I think they should just be more thourough with the players. Other than this, this is the greatest game ever.
