i can understand what the OP is going through, when i first started playing the show, every single game was 1-1. i would only score on homeruns. although it was frusterating, i broke a few controllers, i knew it was something i was doing wrong.
just be patient, this game can be so intricate, yet so simple at the same time. just play through your games and think about what you can do better, then you will have one of those "ah hah" moments, and your game will come together.
if something isnt working, try a different approach.
