It would also be nice during the season if free agents considered your offer more like they do in the offseason, rather than just accept or deny right away. Because the way it is right now you can most likely get them for less in the offseason than during the season because it's programmed not to accept any offer at all if it goes under the price by some

4 keys to success for MLB'11: The Show.
1. A functioning Franchise mode out of the box
2. A fully tested Franchise mode out of the box
3. A over tested Franchise mode out of the box
4. A quality Franchise mode out of the box
Played 07, 08, 09 and was mostly satisfied with Franchise out of the box every year until last year. I really don't care if they add anything to the game, I only wish they would maximize time spent on the basic gameplay and the bigest feature any baseball game can have; Franchise mode. Get that right and then next year build on top of that with new stuff."I am more valuable to my team hitting .330 than swinging for home runs." - Roberto Clemente

I fail to see any of that written. Only "fix it", fix what?
Thanks.

I would like SCEA to add a "catch' button
Instead of just running under a fly ball, or getting in front of a ground ball. I think it would make the game a little bit harder and on top of that, have TRUE errors....Just a thought...Da Hoppa?Comment

Re: I would like SCEA to add a "catch' button
Ya know, that's not such a bad idea. I would think that could be programmed in relating capacity for error to window of opportunity to catch the ball. I could also see that for scooping up or running down a ground ball. Hell, even do the NCAA 06 type thing of using the stick to aim in the direction of the throw. I mean if it can be programmed to be used as your arm(s) for shooting a basketball, why not this?
On top of it, why not tapping for speed burst on the bases a la football games?Comment

Re: I would like SCEA to add a "catch' button
I like the idea, but it would be hard to implement in a way that, after a while, wouldn't just get repetitive. As for the turbo boost for baserunning, do not want.Comment

Yes. you already see the big baseball getting smaller anyway. I don't think it would be too hard to put something like that in the game. Plus, it will always keep you on your toes.Da Hoppa?Comment

Re: I would like SCEA to add a "catch' button
They have already stated this part will be in - your throws can be offline according to how precise you are in moving the stick towards the base you are throwing to.
Not crazy about the speed burst idea, though. Just a personal opinion.

They should add this to Mlb 11 RTTS
First off, my apologies if they have this feature but i've only played mlb 10 the show rtts at my friends house and haven't seen it. Ok so you know how can get stuck on really bad teams in the show and can't seem to get traded or you just want to stay with them for some reason, they should add a recommended free agent option. They have this option in MLB 2k10 my player mode and i thought it was great. What it is, is that if your are one of the more higher rated players on your team you can reccomend a FA for them to chase during the following off-season. Their is no guarantee that your team would get that FA but they will attempt to. You can reccomend only up to 1 FA.
So for example: If you'r in like the 2014 season or something and your one of the highest rated players on your team, their would be a option and say you reccomend David Wright or Zack greinki or something. Your team would chase the one you did in the off-season they might not get that player but they will try.
So, what do you guys think? (again my apologies if they already have this option). And excuse my type-o'sComment

Speed burst?
No thanks...just my opinion though.Comment

Re: Four Keys to Success for MLB '11: The Show
Can the speed burst be used by alternating between two button presses, a la Nintendo track and field?Comment

Re: Four Keys to Success for MLB '11: The Show
I think the idea and it being called "speed burst" gives it an unrealistic perception but a hustle down the line to first is definitely part of the game that isnt represented...the option to hustle..and getting those few extra infield hits would be a good idea...the option to just half *** it down the line would be the alternative or regular effort...Comment

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
