I think my highest was CJ Wilson complete game shutout and thre 126 pitches. I had to skip his next start because he had like 3/4 of an energy bar.

Thats a cool part of this game, that if you max out a starter he wont be fully rested next time around.

My high was also C.J. Wilson in a 3-hit, shutout. He threw 139 pitches.

Striking out 10 with Lilly was a breeze for me, but if I got 5 or 6 with my other starters it was amazing. I am thinking it is pitch selection, and location.

To me, the k/9 rating is more for simulation then anything... At least in my experience.

Oh, and back on topic, I threw 137 pitches with one of my guys in a classic roster I am working on. I can't remember for sure who it was. Either Mordecai Brown, or Fergie Jenkins. Either way, they have much higher ratings when it comes to stamina because of the amount of innings they threw back then... So it wasn't like I was using some current guy that barely hits 200 innings in real life.
ratings i think make more of an impact then what ppl think. imo bb/9 is the one you want to look for strikeouts, with k/9 as a secondary. why is this? because ive noticed with high bb/9, you are pretty deadly accurate when hitting the edges of the strikezone. since you can hit or miss the edge as you please (close to), then you can make the cpu batter chase pitches out of the zone as well as freezing them.

my recent pitcher , i have focused on high bb/9 and he is amazing. in his MLB debut he went a complete game, 4 hits, 2 walks, 1 run, 16 strikeouts vs the red sox. 2nd game vs the royals, he does another complete game, this time a shutout. 2 hits, 3 walks, 14 strikeouts.

other then his high bb/9, he has fairly low h/9 and hr/9 ratings. when i do get hit, its pretty solid and hard, but with rtts poor infield defense, id rather have my outfielders making the outs.

I dont think I have thrown a complete game. I'm usually big on giving the guy enough gas for his next start, plus playing with Detroit I've always had a lockdown bullpen. But a few days ago I went 8 shutout innings with Verlander and threw 120.

          His line was: 8 IP, 4 hits, 11 K's, 2 BB's

I had to win to get into the playoffs, I had a one run lead since the 2nd inning so it was pretty crazy holding that lead the rest of the game.
