MLB 2k8, , had smoke breath and rain. It was cool

I would add balaclavas in Play offs and light snow in some cities in World Series.

^ This. Have a little drizzle but not too much and then have the umps delay it, They pull on the tarp and you see players in the dugout. It either resumes or becomes a doubleheader. And for those who say it'd " Take out of the game " you could bypass the delay scenes. >.>

I have a feeling we may see this in '11. During one of the previews for '10 they stated fog would roll onto the field, but then one of the devs said that it didn't work exactly so it didn't make it in on time. I would think by 2011 they will have it working and implemented...

I'm really hoping to see the retractable roofs in 2011. It didn't seem right to play in Toronto and the weather say 49 degrees knowing that in real life the roof would be closed on a day like that.

I agree, but to this games credit, at least the crowd changes their clothing. In the playoff games, people are dressed differently.

Plus they have towels with the home teams logo on 'em and the towels actually have physics when they wave.. I like it.

Knowing SCEA, they probably just wanna do it the best they can, so they're taking more time than necessary. That's not necessarily a bad thing.

A lot of people don't understand why. It's easy to make this claim when you're simply typing on a message board.

There are lots of technical reasons why they couldn't do it. But do they matter? All that matters is they finally get it in.

I'm only interested in seeing weather added if the conditions actually affect gameplay (colder weather impacting pitching or hitting performance, for instance). If it's merely for show, I'm not interested. Things like rain delays are useless to me in video games. Just more buttons and menus I gotta go through to play my game.

Rain delays would affect the continuation of a starting pitcher. That adds strategy to how you use your bullpen. Interesting feature.
