The most runs I scored was 18 in a 9 inning game with 22 hits.
(All-star difficulty).

It was either 18 or 20.
It was Manage only Mode though.

I scored 23 runs the other night in a game vs the Braves. Crazy thing was that I won that game 23-13. Yes, we set pitching and defense back a few ages.

Come to think of it, I honestly can't say what my most runs scored is. I do remember scoring 10+ runs in back to back games like 30 games ago though, and I'm positive that this was the only example of me doing that.

I play on Legend too, so I'm curious...I'll check when I get home.

Do you use default pitch speed? Let me tell you, double digit games on default Legend (this includes pitch speed) is not an often occuring feat, to say the least.

Were most of your hitters "hot" when going in to that game?

I play on default Legend as well.

My hitters were fairly hot going into the game. Pujols, Holliday, and Rasmus all had 4 hit days and Rasmus put up 9 RBI's on 3 homers, one was a grand slam. Game was highly entertaining as I scored 5 runs in the 3rd and 4th innings and then again in the 6th.

I'm not completely Default, btw. Contact 4, Fouls 6, CPU strike freq 3...

But I'm close.

Let me tell you, I could really use a 20+ run game. I've got a 0.5 game lead on Tampa and Toronto right now. Hopefully I put up 25 the Jays in a few days, as I'd love to turn some of their pitcher's hot symbols around, and dump Toronto back in the basement were they belong!

a few nights ago I had a game that ended with 20 or 21 runs to one or two for the other team. 12 of my runs came in the first inning...without any homers. I almost tied the AL record for most runs in the first inning (14)

in prior games i think the most runs scored by one side was 29 (Rays, RttS, 2010 or 2011)

yep. they have Mike Scioscia as their skipper now and they have been competitive since he took over. They missed the playoffs by 2 games last year.

I was crushing the ball against the Twins pitchers. The opposing manger must have made atleast 4 pitching changes lol. I was seeing the ball really well. That's the beauty of baseball. Every game feels entirely different than the last one. I notice that if you score often the opposing team will become ALOT more aggressive at the plate, so I try to throw pitches out the strike zone so the batter can chase. Which usually works.
