Question I've thought of before but never asked.

Would it be possible for our current-generation of consoles to support in-franchise-roster-updates? I love the ability put in place to manually make/override trades for every team, but it would be great if there was the ability to have roster updates incorporated into an existing franchise.

I know this isn't a breakthrough idea so I'm sure it's been discussed before but I'm just wondering is it even possible with the current technology?

Man I hope so, I loved the dynamic, real-time, ads. I'd love to have those back. Gave the stadiums a better real life feel.

I'd also like to see the old San Diego studios intro/logo back, the one with the ocean and the seagulls.

Yeah, but I rather like the new one (if they use that one) with the umpire cleaning off the plate!

Another thing that I think would be a terrific add..

For each pitcher's attributes, I'd love to see more detailed numbers for their pitches.

For instance, include a "percent thrown" attribute for each pitch.. also a "first pitch strike percentage"..

I'd love to be able to specify:

Slider - 28%
4SFB - 27%
2SFB - 22%
Circle Change - 12%
Curve-ball - 11%

Yeah, but I rather like the new one (if they use that one) with the umpire cleaning off the plate!

Haven't seen that one yet! I'm sure I've seen it but haven't paid attention to it.

I also finally saw that SE controller. I will own it.

The Show needs a pitch by pitch replay of an at bat to be shown here and there for long at bats.....I simply love those and the analysis that comes along with them. Make it feel very realistic presentation wise.

I know Kolbe and Jeff have been trying to figure out a way to be able to do this in some way....and have it work properly for a while now..
I've given them some suggestions on some things for creating/maintaining rosters....and they always work every angle...so...
I'll check it out in a few weeks!
As soon as I'm allowed to report back...I will.
Right now and for the near future, we'll have to rely on the blogs, but let it be known...they hear us on this stuff.

Actually this already exists in the game. If you press select you can see all of this info. They even have a popup once in a while in game that will show these pecentage numbers. Have only seen this popup a handfull of times but it is there.

Don't know if this has been brought up but I would love universal slider settings from year to year. I love the sliders I'm using in '10 and would love to be able to set up '11 exactly the same. Then all we would have to wait on is that deadbeat self appointed roster king Knight to do his rosters

This probably can never happen, because they are always tweaking or redoing the logic behind all of that... just like the bomb Ramone just dropped about ratings being completely removed and done from scratch for fielders.

So every year the slider adjustments would change. Besides, if gives slider makers, and roster makers something to look forward to.
