    Well to be fair to Mr. 50 More Animations, he's probably talking about a specific type of situation.

    Of those 30,000 plus animations, some are allocated toward fielding, hitting, throwing, pitching, etc.

    The question I think he wants to know is: How many animations are there for a fielder reaching for a ball that just gets through.

    If the answer is one, well, yes, that could seem a bit repetitive after a while.

    I don't know the answer to the question and it's probably more than one, but I don't think he's asking for too much. He probably just wants more variation for the more redundant plays in a game.
