Look where Nelson Cruz's arms come down in reference to his thighs. There also seems to be more muscle definition on players.

I am obviously seeing things then, because it is very noticeable in every pic to me. C'mon, look at the shoulders and tell me its barely noticeable.

Anyone else notice how much better the player's shadows look?

Look at Cruz's picture to see what I mean.

Anyways notice how the shadows seem more "Living" and less "painted" if you know what I mean?

I just hope the ball catch region "Shadow" is more visible this year.

I have a question though. Was there any change to the way overall body shape is represented. For example, Does a guy with a David Ortiz or Prince Fielder look like they have a gut and not just wider? In previous games, these body types were kind of boxy and wide (not just the shoulders, but overall build). Just wondering if that was part of the upgrade or not.

Either way, 11 is looking awesome!
Yea you can def tell witht he howard pic, it looks like he has his normal amount of "love" in all the right places. LOL Even in the nellie cruz pic, a bit more meat is present.

Absolutely ... I noticed the lighting and shadows right away. Just look at the shadow detail on the Cola Bottle and Trees, etc.

And it will look even better closer to release! Since that stuff usually gets tuned up towards the end.

I would love to see like a "hardcore" game option where the screen HUD is VERY limited. Like when you hit, you dont see the CPU pitchers deal or the "press button for this" deal in the corners. Its straight you and the pitcher with no clutter. (unless you press a button that brings up a specific menu)

Definitely. The muscle definition is much improved. The texturing is nicer, self shadows... and even the feet and cleats look better and more proportioned!

And this is early still, and more tweaking will be done!

The only thing I don't like is the arm bands in first pic set. However in motion and playing it's a non issue.

I can tell a big difference in those shoulders and arms. The upper body looks really fuller now. Get job guys.

It is rather subtle, anyone outside of this forum wont take to much notice. Its an improvement for sure though, and yeah the main thing ive noticed is the lighting. However a screenshot can only tell you so much, perhaps in motion the models are alot more noticeable

I think that's wrist tape...What about it don't you like?

I agree with you. But keep in mind this is coming from somebody (me) who didn't have any problem with the player models last year.
