Do Canadians also qualify for the free MLBTV offer or do we get shafted again like we always do. I remember last year with the free code for the classic stadiums was only available to Americans. Grrrrr!

Co-op sounds great!

Quick question though, when you win a championship, do they add the championship banner? Something I noticed that isn't there. It would make it a bit more realistic and I'm really hoping they add it to MLB 11!

I'll still get the game guranteed probably, but I want to wait and see what changes if any they make to RTTS and Franchise before I preorder

True HD- does that mean this game will finally be optimized and not up scaled to 1080p? Playing the game on 1080p last year literally looked the exact same as playing on 720p. Hopefully there is full 1080p support.

Until we hear about changes/upgrades to franchise mode I don't see anything to get excited about yet. I have no interest in gimmicks like 3D, Playstation Move or online, I'd rather hear about more stat tracking and improvements to championship celebrations ie more excitement and atmosphere - something every sports game developer seems to neglect. This should be what they work on first, instead of treating it like an afterthought. Afterall, that's what we're playing for isn't it? To win it all? MLB10 was severely lacking in this area. I want to be rewarded for playing through 162 games and winning the championship/pennant for once.

Don't get me wrong, I love MLB 10 but franchise mode is the meat and potatoes of this game so I'll wait until we here about improvements to this mode before getting excited.

This the very first bit of info to come out... the have already addressed player models, dynamic weather including rain and day/night progression. They have included accurate jumbotrons in each stadium. I took the 3D and move as just small perks to the vast improvements they've made to atmosphere, analog gameplay and everything else. I would be surprised if your not impressed with the franchise stuff this year because they are also aware of how important this mode is to those who play the series.

lot of hype for the challenge of the week.
i see that bombing big time.
for sony to not use franchise as a bullet point for the game store ads worries me a bit.
makes me think its just the usual minor upgrades.
it REALLy could use a refresh.

I'd like to see it say: all new franchise!

This is my exact concern. I'm happy that other people will get to use Co op, I just don't need or care for it. I want it there just in case, but I'm all about playing franchise.

I was rather content with franchise last year, but what I'm really looking forward to (someday) is the ability to import a past franchise from an older game. It would make the justification of a purchase much, much greater.

Dude I've asked for this every year for the past umpteen years. Not just here but with Madden etc....
That, a print functionality and a global editor.

Maybe one day. If anyone gets it done eventually, it will be SCEA.
