    Re: Two weeks

thanks Mike! Really appreciate you taking the time actually listen and relay the communities wishes to the appropriate devs.

And good to hear you're feeling better.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

      Re: Two weeks

Knight, thanks for putting the question out. Glad you're feeling better!

I'd like to check on some of the appearance corrections listed in this thread I created a while back ... http://www.operationsports.com/forum...ir-2011-a.html

Other than that, all my passion points (new age stirrups, phiten necklaces, roster maker heaven, etc.) are all shared and exceeded by you, so I'll let you voice those ones.

Thanks again, and don't forget to enjoy the trip while you're working hard for OS!!

        Hey Knight,

I know you and I are one of the few MOM mode players in franchise out there, but any information on this mode would be great....I know we have talked that this mode might not get much love this year, but any love it gets would be worth it, thanks a bunch.

          No problem fellas.
I enjoy tinkering with this game on my own...so getting to do it with the devs is gravy(unbelievable gravy!).....so I try and share the wealth.

With MoM...I already went over some fixes and possible additions(taken from the couple of MoM threads we had and my own experience) with one of the devs a while back. I'm sure if they had the time they will make the fixes and changes.

I'll tell you....I'm really excited to see what they added to presentation (in game) this year.

Keep 'em coming if you want...We've still got a week.

Oh...and on a personal note....My company got the first structural all hands fire of 2011!!...and it wasn't even our first due box(even better!...suckers!(I'm kiddin'...I love the Hollis Hogs)...I know...nobody really cares, but I'm just breakin' someone's shoes who pops into O.S. once in a while!

Before you go check the scoreboards and see how close to the real ones they look. The Giants one is dang near perfect with the fonts they choosen.

              Hey Knight,

I hope you have a great time at community event day.

As a lover of all baseball games dating back to Pete Rose baseball for PC, every year I look forward to buying a new baseball games and 2011 will be no different.

I do respect the NAD, but if you are asking if there are two things I would like to know is if there is or ever will be a expansion mode for The Show and if the Franchise mode for 2011 will be improved either through contract negotiations or the amateur draft, or some other form?

              Thanks and Happy New Year.

For the umteenth time way too many wild pitches. That definitely needs to be addressed. I tried every slider suggestion to cut down on this but it still happens way to often. Thanks in advance.

Really? I thought they were OK. Especially when I learned that if I kept my curveball out of the dirt I'd threw less wild pitches.

But I will say this year I didn't see many (if any) scored as passed balls though. There were some that would have clearly been a passed ball that were scored a wild pitch.

Wild pitches happened way too much especially in the late innings. I can get at least one wild pitch per game. Not good or realistic at all.

Yeah I see what your saying. The average for wild pitches and passed balls in the MLB last year for a team was 65.2 for the season. That's less then 1 every 2 games played.

I wasn't aware of that stat...

Yes, they should definitely be toned down then.

The only way to see this number, is to have pitching sliders/difficulty at a WAY TOO EASY level for one's ability.

                        Thanks for posting this.

Need to tweak the catcher calling signs setup. As it is now, the pitcher and catcher need not be in agreement when picking pitches. It should have catcher showing signs until the pitcher agrees. This would add a little bit of immersion I suspect. A little thing, I know. Certainly not necessary.

I would love to see if they could add a bat speed rating. Most players swing from mid 80's to up as high as 110mph " Bryce Harper". I think it is a very needed stat to make things even more realistic. People like Harper when called up or even a Jason Heyward or Mike Stanton who still have lower power #'s still should hit balls as far as anyone. How do you judge that? Take Jose Bastuia hit 50 plus bombs but doesn't hit many huge bombs could have a 95power rating with a 90bat speed and hit 430ft HRs. but like a harper with a 65 or 70 power with a 110bat speed could hit balls 475 plus but still only hit 20 or 30 bombs in a full sim season. Just an example!!! Just another way to add more realism and more individuality to more players. If you could ask that question or see what there thoughts on bat speed is that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks man

Bat speed is indeed something that should be implemented, because bat speed is something all scouts look at and rave or cry about.

I don't think bat speed should necessarily be correlated with HR, but more of making hard contact and being able to fight off pitches.
