Re: Two weeks
Have fun knight!
Couple things...
To piggyback off of the stats request- can you also check if sabermetics are being tracked too?
Also can you check if the first year player draft has changed at all? Does the draft pool still give franchise issues years into ones franchise? Has scouting changed at all?

Re: Two weeks
Do natural interleague rivals play each other every year? LA v. LA, NY v. NY, Chi v Chi etc. If memory serves this is not always the case in franchise mode.
Thanks!

Re: Two weeks
Did they fix the time it gets dark during the summer...in real life it doesn't get dark in most places til about the 6th inning..but in the game it is always dark by the 4th inning.
The time of game also moves too slowly on the on-field clocks
There is a glitch when a base stealer reaches first base and they show graphic of steal %, etc but there are no actual figures shown
Did they fix the temp in AZ. It is not 70 degrees at night during the summer..try 100+
Is it possible to show batter performance over course of season against all pitchers on opposing team (like in RTTS when you hit select) and vice versa?
in RTTS, is it possible to show near behind plate camera view when you are in away stadiums like they show when you are in your home stadium and on deck? The way the current camera is you can't see the pitcher and batter at the same time when you are in the dugout.
I think dynamic attendance can be better...did they make it more realistic. For instance, even the Yankees do not sell out every home game. And all the fans don't remain at the stadium if there is a blow out.
The announcers refer to stats overlays that don't exist. E.g., announcer might say "as you can see Jeter has hit .350 over the past 2 weeks" but there are no such overlays. I also think there are more stat overlays for batters in exhibition mode than in franchise mode. Would love to see more stat overlays for pitchers too...sorry had to throw that one in. :wink:Comment

Re: Two weeks
Knight...there was this glitch where I would play as the rangers, and the 3B michael young would throw it over the 1B head, it would fly into the stands but go into this weird stadium blackhole area, and where it should be an out of play double, it acts asif though i can still field it therefore the CPU runs the bases for an inside the park homerun. Its happened a few times against me and by me."Im all jacked up on mountain dew!"

Re: Two weeks
I don't know if this has been adressed or not but I remember that in the offseason if you tried to make a trade in November, or December it wouldn't allow you because they say that playoff eligible players couldn't be traded or something like that, so you'd have to wait until January to actually make offseason trades, that would be something nice to fix because in my opinion it does matter a bit makes it easier to go through the offseason filling up what you need
Also not sure if its been adressed or not but during the season there are times where the announcers bring up wrong standing statistics, like for example I might be ten games ahead of .500, but the announcers will say something "If they can win this they will move two games over .500"

Re: Two weeks
I didnt see this mentioned...
1. Trading in the offseason. Currently it won't allow until jan. 1 when it should be right after world series.
2. Allow for autosim of draft picks for 30 team franchise users in rule 5 and amateur draft.
3. Team tracking on players card ie
2010 nyy. 280..........
4. Be able to look back on previous years standings and league leaders and award winners.Comment

Re: Two weeks
Expanded boxscores. The Show has very generic stats in the boxscore. If they could could come close to replicating the MLB.COM boxscores, that would be great. At least include pitch counts for each pitcher used. When you finish a game, all the pitch count stats are lost.

Re: Two weeks
I know that last year if you edited a player within a franchise his in-season progression would be reset. Could you check to see if that is still the case this year? Thanks Knight."The best thing about being a football player at Alabama...winning...winning." -Mark Barron

Re: Two weeks
Hey Knight,
I thought of one more:
can you please see if we have the ability to edit a player's time in the league, namely to "unrookie" a player? so for example, if I create a player and I don't want him to be a rookie (and I don't want them to use all the rookie quotes when referring to him), is there a way to change his years or something so it makes it that he's been in the league for a long time? I'm surprised this hasn't been an option in years past, as this has further implications: rookie of the year award, contracts, etc. Plus it drove me crazy if a player who was out of the league and then came back to the league mid-season and therefore had to be recreated by me was then a rookie even though he may have been in the league for 14 years in real life, or for example Marco Scutaro, who was listed in the game as 6"4 or something and therefore was ridiculously long - I prefered to recreate him at his normal height, but then I had to deal with him being a rookie the entire season, with the "this is a chance for a young man to prove to his team blablabla...", but it was a trade off I chose. That reminds me, can you please make sure they get his height correct this time?
Thanks again!Comment

Re: Two weeks
I think the stats made it back(don't quote me yet)...
I did ask them to add the division standings...and also on the schedule screen in the division standings to put the games back column somewhere.
KJ....you(and tgreer)......have done what I need actually.
Something specific...that I MIGHT be able to ask them to put in if they have the time/space for as far as stats and info. Definitely not "stupid".
None of it is...it's just that I've been asked to concentrate on franchise specific items right now...and I might not see everything that everyone else does. More eyes on it....better the chance it gets fixed/adjusted.

Re: Two weeks
Thanks Knight,
If you think this would be a good idea please plant this seed:
* a choice to play a season with 8 teams in each league
* a choice of city's that each team called home
* If you choose The Milwaukee Braves The uniforms and dialog will match
Then all we have to do is create the players to match...I like it...
