Hi Knight,

Not sure whether this falls under the franchise section, but it would be great if you could give the Sounds of the Show a test run while running a franchise. Last year the feature was a little glitchy until the second patch. Does music work correctly for player walkups, between innings and post-game? Are sound levels appropriate? Is music tied to rosters like previous years? (Russell requested feedback from the community earlier this year about how sounds should be handled). Thanks.

I would just like to see some fine-tuning done to the user interface. The way stats are displayed is not intuitive. The player card is lacking on stats, and to see an individual's stats you have to scroll all the way through the columns on the main stat screen. It'd be great to have a player card similar to what you get on espn.com, to see all the stats laid out in a grid style and for more than just the 6 or so categories we have now.

It'd also be great to be able to view splits (by month, home/away, first half/second half) etc. With the raw stat tracking power of this game, I'd think the main hurdle would be setting aside development time to build the UI in front of it.

The league leaders needs to be re-done also. Again, I'd like to see it similar to how it is on espn.com (or any other website for that matter) where you get all the columns displayed and you can sort each one, and apply filters (team vs. individual, etc).

Also, I've never been a fan of the standings screen. I'd like to be able to view all 3 divisions in each league simultaneously, possibly with the option to drill down further for more details. But I think there should be a way to view a snapshot with all the basics (W-L, GB, L10, streak) for all divisions on one screen.

To sum it up I think the UI in franchise mode is dated and inefficient. It can be streamlined allowing information to be more readily available, and in a lot of cases, making information available that isn't available with the way things are currently set up. I know the statistical information I mentioned is tracked by the game, the UI doesn't do it justice because there's no way to access this info. Instead we get passive remarks by the commentators in-game to let us know this information is tracked, and it's really more of a tease since there's no way to view it in the front end.

Ask if a player is still in the minor leagues will they show their minor league stats from previous years

Ask if there is going to be a Top 100 Prospects list similar to what Baseball America does, I know when I played MLB 2k with Tim Lincecum on the cover they had something similar to that

And finally ask if when you edit a player they have on whatever team they play for uniforms on whether it be a major league team or a minor league team.

And ask if they can have when you at the stats of a player on the player card will they have a screen where it will display whether the player has won the Cy Young, Rookie of the Year, All-Star Teams, Gold Gloves, Silver Slugger, Relief Pitcher of the Year, and NL and AL MVPs

I haven't read the whole thread so I'm guessing this hasn't been asked, but could you check whether there have been any improvements to the coaches? i.e. whether we can fire mid-season, whether they have added bench and bullpen coaches, whether or not they are editable, and if all the real coaches make it into the game this year.

You pointed out a few posts that met your criteria for your sit down with Kolbe...mine was not one of them (reading back, I think my wording was odd).

So, just a little rephrasing:

Currently, when a game in mid progress is saved (and exited out of...obviously), certain game stats such as foul balls, missed swings, etc. all resort to 0 when the game is loaded back up.

The confidence meter for both CPU and User pitcher reset as well.

Can you find out whether or not it is possible to have the confidence meter save when a game is saved mid-progress, so it will be where it was when the game is loaded?

Currently, their is really no legitament reason to save games.

This is make or break for me...can you shorten the length of games played in franchise mode? I know you can play 14 games in season mode but can you in franchise mode...also when playing short inning games will the computer use subs, relievers accordinglyandnot act like it is a 9 inning game like in the past.

negotiate contracts for players during the season

Fire/hire managers/coaches during the season

league leader stats are italicized during overlay, or like it appears on back of baseball card

Edit Mgr/coaches (Would have been nice to add Donnie Baseball back)

Fix Announcer comments, example: "he's headed for two" based on OF's position and not necessarily where baserunner is.

The scoreboard during Hr's switches way to quickly to the next batter, and at times during replay.

Open edit option on existing players, age, appearance, etc.

Correct logic on awards, I see pitchers eligible for hitting categories, i.e. DH

OF need to stop bracing themselves against wall just because they are "near" it, once the animation starts in hella-tough to throw a runner out.

Ability to back out of TV contract, sponsor etc (Of course with a penalty)

Three team trade.

I like the simplicity of Season Mode but would like the season to continue to the next season with all the stats.
I don't think this will be added this year but can you run this idea buy SCEA?
