Would it be possible to have the confidence meter SAVE when loading up an in-game save file?

I couldn't tell you how irritating this is. It's hard to get all the way through games sometimes. The confidence meter reseting (once an in progress game is loaded)really deters me from using the in-game save feature.

PLEASE THIS ^^^^!!!

I have been asking about this for the last two seasons. As an MOM guy with a 4 yr old trying to play a game for 2 hrs is almost impossible ( I watch all the walkups, everything) So in game saving is very important to me. I have basically quit midseason the last two years because I didn't like loading up the in game only to have the pitchers confidence reset no matter how he was doing prior to the save. ....and guys.....I guess a lot of you are NOT reading the first post...
While I don't mind "checking" on things if it's possible.....it's kind of pointless as I'm bound by a NDA.....so I couldn't really tell you if it's in or not.

I'm really going for three things here.
Any existing bugs/glitches that are SPECIFIC to franchise mode.
Any tweaks you would like to see to EXISTING features of franchise mode(TWEAKS!...not all out new features)
Or something that MAY be a possible late minute addition to and EXISTING feature of franchise mode....such as a possible overlay for certain stats or something for the ticker....like that.
I realize...that if it's a new feature...it would be impossible for us to know....but....

I will write ALL of this down and see what I can do though.
(I really am a glutton. )

Knight, thanks as always for all the work you put in to this.

What I would like to see in Franchise mode is:

1) More stats, such as specific batter/pitcher stats for the specific season. For example, if I'm using Dustin Pedroia and it's the 20th time he's facing CC Sabathia in my franchise season, I would love to see a stat overlay that says what Pedroia's average has been against CC, how many hits and which ones, etc. Of course, I would love for it to also have some sort of effect, for example if I've gone 2 for 20 so far in the season as Pedroia against CC, my batting confidence should be kinda low and make it harder to get a hit... but one step at a time...

2) I would love for them to make it so one can export a roster from Franchise mode, so that it can be saved and shared, used for new Franchises etc.

3) I would love to see if pitcher confidence extends throughout games, for example a closer who's blown 3 saves in a row should start with a really shaky confidence the next game. And in connection with my #1 above, a stat overlay that shows CC against Pedroia and that Pedroia has gone 13 for 20 so far in the season, it would be cool for CC's confidence to go a little lower just against Pedroia, thus making it a little easier for Pedroia to continue his hot streak against CC.

4) Please see if switch hitters can be assigned 2 batting stances, one for each side of the plate.

That's all I can think of for now. Can't wait to hear the answers to these and the others. Thanks, Knight!

This is a fairly obvious one...

How are the ball physics? Does the ball still have a pretty non-realistic bounce or was this tweaked? This wasn't something that really hurt my gaming experience in MLB 10, it just took away the realism a bit.

Hi Knight, love all the work you do for OS!

Not sure if this would be simple or not, but please check if a top prospect list similar to the one produced by Baseball Amercia could be added or developed. I can never tell who the best prospects are.

I'd also echo the person who suggested improving the draft. It would be nice to learn a little bit more about the players you scout, be able to scout additional players and have better scouting AI if I don't choose anyone to scout. It would also be nice to have the draft last longer than 4 rounds and have a couple usable prospects later in the draft.

Hey Knight, a couple things they need to put in:

1. Bat Boys? Did they put them in this year?
2. The boys or girls down the foul line that sit in a folding chair and collects foul balls.
3. Did they make the dugout better? Does the players walk into the dugout after each half inning?
4. Dose the fireworks at Turner Field come out of the Coke bottle? and did they update the coke bottle, they put it in last year, but it was the old one. It is a new generic bottle with a banner around it that does animations during rallies and homeruns, etc. When nothing is happening it just says coca cola.
5. The tomahawk sign needs to work during rallies, not homeruns. And in 10 after it would work once, it would not work again for the rest of the game, it got stuck in an animation.
6. The Braves backstop needs to be fixed.
7. and if they can, the braves need more retro jurseys, there so many of them that never make it on the show, for example the hank arron uni thats blue.

What about in Franchise when a guy hits a certain "mark" such as reaching 30-30 plateau (show as only 4 2B in history to accomplish or whatever) or a guy is in reach for the triple crown (Show past winners that already did this). Is there stat overlays that can put in place to show these accomplishments in season, not just you seeing the normal stat outlook? Hopefully saying this not in a stupid manner, just want to see more "in-depth" stats layout.

We all play the game for stats and guys/teams reaching goals, so this in my opinion would be awesome to feature. I would call this a Stat Overlay Tweak. :-)

- the ribbon boards are not interactive so don't expect the coke bottle to be interactive! Also, I'm not sure that it is even possible for them to program the dang sign to animate during the times you described. I'm a braves fan too but geez, I'm just glad it animates at all. On top of all this, Knight said he wasn't commenting on stadium specific elements. I'm thrilled that the wall art made it in!

How about while announcing the opening lineup putting each players stats back in like they had a couple years ago. As far as overlays and stats, show division standings at the beginning of the game would be a nice touch.

I think the stats made it back(don't quote me yet)...
I did ask them to add the division standings...and also on the schedule screen in the division standings to put the games back column somewhere.

KJ....you(and tgreer)......have done what I need actually.
Something specific...that I MIGHT be able to ask them to put in if they have the time/space for as far as stats and info. Definitely not "stupid".
None of it is...it's just that I've been asked to concentrate on franchise specific items right now...and I might not see everything that everyone else does. More eyes on it....better the chance it gets fixed/adjusted.
