Re: Two weeks
I'm wondering if all the roster control stuff and edit player will finally be in one place. It would shorten the amount of time with roster editing if we could edit a player, then quickly transfer that player to another team without having to go through numerous windows (i.e. exiting out of edit roster, entering roster control, going to a team, clicking player movement, flipping through the teams, swapping players, then exiting back to the edit player screen). I wonder if they'll also give us the ability to edit players in free agency on the main menu rosters.Comment

Re: Two weeks
When you're playing a game and they have league leaders scrolling along the score bar, it would be nice if there was a foul ball or something, the leaders would continue to scroll. As it is now, if your first pitch (or any pitch) is fouled off or something, when you return to the pitching/hitting interface the league leaders scrolling across the screen is gone.Comment

Re: Two weeks
I know it was stated that they have so many "A" potential players allowed in the game. I was wondering if we could swap between players?Comment

Re: Two weeks
Is there any way they can implement a feature that allows you to change the team hats on a players picture in the game? This would be a welcome addition for when trades are made and when players switch to new teams in free agency, so that they're hats match the new team they are on.Comment

Re: Two weeks
Knight, are you hinting at something? I would be VERY anxious as well to see if the potential grade could be swapped!
Also on terms of retired numbers in franchise, do you think we will be able to use retired numbers? I know in past baseball video games we could, so I did not understand why the MLB would be so strict?
I like to create the 84 Tigers and Kirk Gibson wearing 24, just looks plain strange.
Enjoy your time looking forward to seeing the improvements!Comment

I think it has to do with an agreement with the MLBPA maybe?
I've asked them repeatedly.(pester is more the word)
I can't really hint. I'm bound by an NDA.
Like I've stated earlier....and I don't KNOW anything for sure...but Kolbe always takes care of us roster guys in some way....no matter how much time he has to devote to this area of the game.
Once I see what we've discussed in action....AND I get the go ahead to say....I will.

Re: Two weeks
Figured as much about an NDA, but at least they actually listen to the input of their consumers year in and year out. For them to be so accessible really lets the consumer know they actually care that they make a good game and improve it each year instead of just a profit.

Rwing
Last year I took the 86 set that was put out and did an 87 Season set for Rosters. It took so much time!! I appreciate the offer but would probably pass.
I being a Detroit Tiger fan know the 84 team well, but I was only 6 in 1984 and it was my first season to watch it. I enjoy putting that team together, but I really was into more of the 1986-87 team before Gibby went to the Dodgers.Comment

Re: Two weeks
I know this is not the right section, but if you have a chance could you see if they have the flip up glasses from the 1980's available

Re: Two weeks
One more thing I forgot: can you check to see if they updated the records? If they didn't add more stats to it, did they at least replace some with more relevant ones that we actually have a shot at breaking? I love watching the records to see which ones are broken at the end of the season. My brother was showing me one of the Madden games the other day, and not only do they have the records, but like the top 10 or so in each category. It would be really cool to have the top 10 home run hitters of all time and watch current players pass over some of the retired players. Thanks again Knight for representin'Comment

Re: Two weeks
I think it was 09, nothing to write home about, but I enjoyed making them. You will have a new appreciation for Knight and other roster makers, it takes so much work. Even after all of that it was still 100% up to their standards.Comment
