I think that's tough to say.....at the start of the play...the "assist" that starts you on the path to the play if not gone...is very, very low from what I understand. So that first jump is really up to you now. So that's much more USER reliant. From there...a mistake with a low rated fielder will make getting on track tougher than a highly rated ...but it will still be up to your input until you get into the animation range....for both making the play and lining it up for a branch on the play. So that's a little bit of both....I think once you get yourself into "the zone"....the ratings get a little more weight ...but you can still track the player into a different path...and the chance of error and the catch animations that are available to you are rating dependent....but not totally.....so this part of the play is more rating dependent.
