and your on here complaining about a sign, thats why we make post like this. These guys at SCEA do everything they can to try and create the most accurate representation of baseball that they can. And i for one appreciate everything they do, and for me to come on here and read that u may not purchase the game because of a sign and some other minute details? Is beyond me

Easy for you to say considering how accurate Yankee Stadium is. I guess stadiums are classified under "minute issues". If you were a Cubs fan, maybe you would understand.

You're missing the point. It has zero to do with that but rather the "Doubt I buy" comments. SCEA has done an extremely great job on the overall project.
If something isn't right with a stadium then sure post it. Just save the "Not going to buy" comments. If the overall package doesn't justify the purchase then you'll never be satisfied. And yes Yankee Stadium could be totally wrong but I'd still buy the game due to the stellar gameplay.

This isn't Madden where they know the game lacks overall so they need to keep adding fluff to get people to buy.. (or a 1,000,000.00 contest to get you to buy)

I love baseball and NO ONE comes close to the quality of The Show....
They deserve my 60.00 for the work they put in. It's not perfect but each year it gets closer.

Ok really? This is my lost post on this subject before the entire board rises against me. I put my own time into trying to fix Wrigley. SCEA said they had it noted and couldn't promise everything would get it. I see some wip screenshots... and next to nothing made it in. If any of you paid any attention to Cubs games, you would realize that Wrigley isn't portrayed close to where it is in real life.

aukevin, thanks for the write-up. I'm just have a question for RTTS:

For some people, they like to restart their RTTS careers either at a different position or for a different team. In any case, will we be able to save the physical features of the player (i.e. the face) or will we have to recreate our player each time? If we do have to recreate our player, is it possible that the developers are looking into such a feature where we can save or carry over the height, weight, facial and physical attributes (not ratings) the player over to a new RTTS?

Again, excellent write-up for RTTS.

aukevin, is it at all possible (not for this year although it would be nice but certainly is understandable if not) that while baserunning you could just push a button/trigger/stick to give you a quick snap to the 3rd base coach and then upon release you go back to default camera angle?

That way you can watch where the ball is, take a quick peak at the 3rd base coach to see what he is saying to do, then go back to original camera.

Don't know if that was thought of, if it is a problem one way or another, or if it is a dumb idea but one that I just thought of.

It didn't look like it. I remember some of you guys mentioning something like that, but there wasn't anything like that in the game. I created 4 different players during my time there and had to start from scratch each time. I know you specifically asked for the number of pages of how many names are said now and I wrote them down but I left the paper there! sorry I was told that they weren't able to get any new names in this year for RTTS, so I'd expect the same ones outside of new MLB player names I suppose.

That was one of my suggestions. The other was to have baserunner windows in RTTS except basecoaches are in the windows. The devs understood the need, I'm sure they'll come up with something.

Hey Knight, a couple quick questions for when you have the time:

1) I didn't see if you were able to post that screenshot of the new ticker...?

2) With the Player Vault, can you fully edit players who you download, including faces? I figure there's a good chance I download some players from the PV, who someone else has created in great detail (statistically, etc), but who they didn't take the time to make the faces as accurate as possible. Perfectly understandable for someone who's making a bunch of players, but I don't mind taking the time to edit MY downloaded Cubs players' faces to look even better (and even re-upload with a new and improved face).

Yes...since every player in the vault will be a generated player...you will be able to edit everything about them.

Did anyone notice if they added more records to break other than the ones they have had for the past few years such as homers in consecutive games, most RBI's in a game, etc.?

They are random as they were. Kolbe said they just didn't have time to figure out how to properly have the schedule work it as per MLB standards without screwing up(mainly because after year 1...it's a "random" generate for the schedule...and to try and "lock" in certain portions...bonked the generator.

Just a random thought....I have NO idea how this popped in my head. But if the MLB removed the Braves AND the Cubs from the MLB....I wouldn't mind.
