Re: MLB 11 The Show Community Day Discussion Thread - Questions, Answers etc.
I dont know if the devs time would be worth spending on creating a sunrise scenario so we can play games early in the morning..I might be in the minority but Id think creating a whole fictitious unrealistic feature that in depth, maybe the time would be better served somewhere else...like I said I may be wrongComment

I'm assuming the Indians have their new away uniforms and hats in the game. But I thought I would throw it out there just in case. They should have "Cleveland" in block letters.
So if one of you fine gents could confirm that for me, that would be awesome!!

I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I know franchise mode hasn't really had any changes other than trade logic but did they fix the glitch or whatever it was at the offseason where you'd only be able to make trades in January and not November and December? (you could make trades in thosemonths but not with playoff eligible players for some reason)My Franchise:New York Yankees
Teams For Life:
MLB:New York Yankees
NHL:New York Rangers

Yeah, I know what you are saying...Maybe they could look at the earliest start time on the mlb calandar from the past year and the latest start time, and let you choose any time inbetween. Theoretically a 24 hour lighting cycle would be ideal, just out of principle, but I see your point.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show Community Day Discussion Thread - Questions, Answers etc.
Couple questions have come to mind for me that would make the game a little better for me.
Any idea if the Futures Game got an XM OK? Did the logic of the players for the Futures Game get an overhaul? Last year we had a bunch of Americans on the World team as well as some scab relief pitchers with MLB service time.
Any information on the Draft in Franchise Mode? Can we edit the drafted players and can we get them signed before the end of the season and placed on low affiliate teams?
I am a 30 team user and manage every aspect of the player movements. Any way that the retirement logic can be manual, including minor leaguers that get retired? I just finished my 10 season and Aaron Hicks was retired by the game due to potential? He was an A rated player. Mark Rogers who was just named the top prospect of the Brewers was retired due to poor free agent market. This should be a manual aspect of the game. Players like Ryan Westmoreland and Grant Desme and even Duffy should be able to be controlled as well as players who get suspended for whatever reasons.
Thanks fellas and keep up the good work,Comment

Thats a much better scenario...and makes much more sense. you know people would ask for people with sleeping bags and pajamas in the crowd...lol I was just thinking about how the team was splitting up their time recently...I think they chose to work on the areas they could get the most done with what they wanted to add...they laid the foundation for ton of features over the last 2 years and could see them upgrade these features and spend alternating years on RTTS and franchise the next..and it seems like a great way to do it. this team doesnt disappoint..because the ones that usually do get disappointed are never happy anyway.."Life is like baseball, it's the number of times you arrive home safely that counts"Comment

I'll ask again and I dont mean to be a nuisance but I did'nt see it answered the first time. Chase Utley's batting stance has been wrong the last couple of outings. In previous games his right foot is on it's tippytoe where in real life that is not the case. Has this been changed? Here is an example.

Enjoy.

Nice Chris. If you have time, I have a question (maybe it's dumb, but I don't know the answer). If it is you who does the stances:
Do you dress up in the mo-cap suit every time and do the stance, or do you just design them on the computer through animations? The first way seems longer, but it could actually be easier, I don't know."Life is like baseball, it's the number of times you arrive home safely that counts"Comment

Will Derek Lowe's pitching delivery be his new one in this years game? Because now he has a overhead 3 quarter delivery insted of over the top he change his delivery in 2010.Comment
