I realize you may not be able to answer that as it's an under the hood game mechanics type of question, but I was just curious since it's obvious you spent a lot of time talking to Brian at the event.

I had the same experience as you last year...could listen to him talk about how the game works all day...fascinating stuff.
I think Ramone posted something on it a week ago or so. I will find it when I get home. But I remember him saying that there is a 98% chance you will NOT hit a home run.

So there is always that 2% chance to pull a Gibson contact swing HR

When I used it I saw weak grounders or when I made solid contact with Crawford, it was a shallow bloop single which looked fantastic on how the play played out.

      He...dives all the time.
I think it's the same though.

Don't quote me on this but I believe it was addressed - I think Knight tested that out several times.

My RTTS player just became a little more dangerous and Eckstein-like. Should help those who like to work the count and try to draw walks.

Can't wait to recreate that HR this year! (but with a regular swing!)

This is going to be great for getting the runner over - adds more strategy to the game. Did you find you would mostly hit grounders or was there a nice variety. Did you K when in contact mode?

I'm a classic pitching whore too, but analog pitching sounds awesome. Did you find the RS to be as responsive on pitching as batting? When you set your target before going into the windup/stretch, are setting the end point or breaking point for pitches? Do different pitchers have different analog speeds? Was there a noticeable difference between windup and stretch? Can't wait to try this out.

Thanks again, to all CD participants, for taking time to write up the experience and answer are never-ending string of questions!

So if I am reading correctly, you would have to choose what type of swing you want(power, contact, etc..) before every pitch?

May have just completely read that wrong.

The right stick is just as responsive for pitching! You are still setting up for where you want the pitch to break. Yes, certain pitchers who have long slow motions will result in the ball falling down the shaft much slower, really depends on the pitcher. Also, when you are in the stretch the yellow release line moves up close to the top to compensate for the quicker motion.

                        Good questions!

                          You did...
Don't touch a button...and it will be "normal".

                          Want to try power?...hit square...

Down 0-2?....you can try contact swinging.

Of course you can do any of the above on any count as well.

With analog? You are defaulted to a regular swing so you do not need to press anything. If you want the others you would need to press them ahead of time!

Hey Nem, Knight, or EN, whoever can answer, could you give some insight on the broadcast fielding camera? I thought that it was angled too low in 10 and was not really functional on balls hit to the outfield, but I loved what it did for infield play. It looks like in some of the videos that it has been changed a bit but I can't tell for sure.
                                Thanks fellas
