I just got back from Gamestop and pre-ordered both the game and the new controller. Paid them all off in full. I'll use it just for MLB '11, and I'll use my current controller for other games.

I would love to buy that controller, but im spending 7 bucks on Amazon for this "baseball skin" and getting the closest thing to it.

I like this color scheme better, as well as the price point.

Yeah the skin is obviously cheaper but I want at least 2 more controllers so getting this was a no brainer for me

Yeah, for people that want or need another controller and love baseball, it's a no-brainer. To say you're paying $55 for red-stitching isn't a valid statement at all.

Well yes, yes they they are. I guess I meant to say that I have two perfectly good controllers as of now, so I'd be paying to have a third and almost useless controller... just for the red stitching.

But if I was in need of a new controller... then, I dunno. Maybe.

As far as the MLB branded controller, I already have the white one, so i cant justify it, plus my girlfriend brother has 2 and he lives with us so i cant get it just so i have a second.

Now if it was TEAM branded.....

Given the fact that I only have 1 controller for my PS3 this is a no-brainer and an excuse to get another controller Will be at Gamestop by the end of the week to reserve one.
