The "dropped 3rd strike" has been toned down in the final build.

I think it really depends on your pitching style. If you throw a lot of low pitches that end up in the dirt your frequency at which you will see it is going to go up. I have not played the demo a ton but did not see it as a potential problem in the games played.

I just noticed this last night, and started watching it more, and found my catcher to "double pump" the throw back to the pitcher..And he must have done it 10 times in a row. Does he do it everytime? Got to be really annoying.

First off I'd like to say I love the analog controls! I'm struggeling the most with fielding in high pressure situations. I find myself pressing the R stick often all the way which result in lots of wild throws but I'm getting better

The dusk sunset skies look gorgeous and I'm really digging catcher view 3 while batting. The crowd feels more alive and reacting more properly...
but I still find the crowd reaction to homeruns by the home teams too late. When the ball leaves the bat and it could be a goner the crowd should allready light up and fully explode when its out of the park but the crowd still only gets loud when its over the fence and not in advance.

          Little personal annoyance:

The pitch history graphic on my tv is still the same as in 10. Which means that I can hardly see the difference in colours from the balls thrown. Maybe my old hd ready tv had its best time but up untill '10 it was perfectly clear!

And since '10 you can only bring up the pitch history while having guess pitch or pitch/swing info on. This was not the case in '08 and '09. No biggy but I just want as little things as possible on the screen but for me to keep this option I must have the guess pitch in the HUD.

          Little idea:

During the stat overlays, for example the RBI leaders overlay, it displays a list of the top 8(?) or something like that and the guy they're talking about is somewhere in that list. I always find myself scanning that list to find the place he is listed. Wouldn't it be much easier to just highlight that player so we don't have to look for him ourselves?

Ok very small details but that only means I find the game that good

CJ Wilson just hit a soft line drive to right field and my RF picked it up off of one hop and threw him out at 1st base lol. He is slowwwww

Tie game, top 4th runners on first and second. Hamilton hits a shallow grounder to third. I sprint into action trying to turn a quick two. Sandoval takes his sweet time gloving the ball and throwing to second base. Andrus slides into second easily. All runners are safe.

I agree. VERY annoying. The batter wasn't even in the way for the catcher to have a reason to double-pump the throw back to the pitcher. I do like though that I saw the catcher seems to snap his wrist moe when throwing back. I really liked that.

Another little thing I noticed playing last night they fixed Adrian Beltre's stance this year. His left foot is no longer outside the batters box standing on the home plate. Hopefully, this means that all the stances like that from last year are fixed.

I'm with you there. I flat out can't tell the difference in color without going right up to the tv. I 've never had any vision problems and I don't think your HD ready tv is the problem either. I have a full HD 1080P tv and I have the same exact problem.

I downloaded the demo earlier and played for an hour. Game looks great as expected. I tried the analog hitting for a little bit and it is challenging. I think I'll stick to zone hitting. I prefer to press a button to swing then to move an analog stick anyways. I have enough of a challenge with zone hitting. I like the analog fielding though, and fielding will actually be challenging this year (I thought it was too easy and dry in past versions). I didn't try pitching as I only play RTTS and I'm a position player.

I'm glad SCEA gave us so many options with hitting, fielding, and pitching. Those of you who are going to stick with analog hitting good luck, I'm happy with zone!

If only other sports games had as many options as the Show does. More options is better us gamers.

Could be just the demo build. Because at the CE they were definitely improved over 10. So it should translate into final I would imagine.

Has anyone commented on the ball flight on fly balls? Does anyone else notice that nearly every ball curves significantly to the left? Even off of left handed hitters bats. Hamilton hit a deep fly to what looked like was left center and the catch ring (ball) continued to tail all the way to the LF line. I have seen this more than ever in this game. 10' had a great variety of ball flight patterns.

Sorry if its already been said, but I am not about to read through every post.
